Rented with avis via uber and was charged for 3 weeks when I had the car for only 2.Was over charged for the first week which eventually was rectified.Day I came in to rent the company had an internal system issue that inconvenienced me to wait HOURS just to get the car.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION OR CAR RENTAL COMPANY PERIOD unless... you have hundreds of dollars to play with and still be ok after they rob you and/or hold your money hostage.I'm going back to hertz for uber rentals . AVIS is horrendousUpdating my review now to current day March 4. Hertz did not have a location via uber close enough for me so unfortunately I had to go back to avis . I was in and out within a matter of minutes. however , I was approached by a lady on my way out confronting me about the review I left a few months ago asking if I still felt this way . I told her yes . She asked me if I got my money back . I said yes but in my previous review I said it WAS rectified. I do not appreciate being confronted about my own honest experience and review . She then proceeded to tell me that she "could have refused my rental but didnt" .I now feel like a target for this location . A dry threat to hindering business because of MY freedom of speech is WRONG .IF AVIS ACTUALLY DOES PRACTICE REFUSING RENTALS BECAUSE OF HONEST REVIEWS ,THEN THIS EHOLE COMPANY NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED .

Manger very rude hung up in my face because they gave us a drop off location to a Avis that’s no longer in that location did not answer the call again very rude and poor customer service you just lost a great customer

They were very professional, made the process easy, and gave me a nice car. A really good alternative to picking up at Ohare. Ty was excellent! The best run Avis i’ve encountered, and I rent a lot.

Ty one of the representatives at this location has a professionalism and patience that is above and beyond. She works very hard to help. I've rented many times and they have always provided good customer service.

These people are rude and do not do good business at all. Should you have an issue they won’t help you, and customer service won’t either. Then they act tough and argue, hang up in your face, don’t answer any questions when they know they are in the wrong. Don’t spend a dime with these people. They act like they are doing you a favor as if customers aren’t paying for a service.

If I could give them a negative rating I would! Not only did they double charge me but when I called about the issue the manager hung up on me and the front desk girl is so uneducated and helpless that she stopped picking up my calls. I called over a dozen times and no one answered because they don’t want to help me. I reported them both to the BBB but I will also report both of them to Avis corporate I’ve been renting with Avis for over a year and as soon as they changed employees to these two, things have been going down the drain. They steal money from your account and are very uneducated and not helpful at all.

Extremely rude people here. They will also change the prices in your existing contract without any notice then refuse to give any reason why. Do not deal with this locations.

Horrible experience. I was told they had a Uber car. Nope. As a matter of fact , I was told 6 Avis’s had Uber cars. None of them did. The reason why It’s this one I have a serious problem with is because the guy hung up on my girlfriend. Talk about unprofessional. My girlfriend me a reservation and he’s response was ‘ You know, it’s like renting a hotel room’. ????? Usually if you rent a hotel room , you get it. I got a Tesla from Hertz. Way better service Very professional at Hertz

So previous reviews were true, made reservation 5 days in advance, came on time to pick up the car just to be told that they don’t have a car for me with an attitude like this is how it works, you take our expensive electric car or just go home, paid $50 for uber both ways, thanks Avis for great service

After getting to know the people a little better they are pretty decent people and good.
