I have had quite a few experiences with the imaging area of the hospital. The staff at the east tower registration are good, most of the time it is very crowded. They do the best they can to go as quick as they can. Now on the the staff in the xray area, top notch!! Great experiences, they are so kind & very helpful. My only thing. The waiting area needs to get different chairs, as a chronic pain patient, it is very difficult to sit in the very low chairs, also hard to get out of it.

Lauren, Jackie, and Mya were AMAZING night staff members and made my stay so much better! I was in the ICU for 4 days due to a mental health complication and was at a very low point in my life and the helped me see the good in life. Thank you, presents coming soon!

This pharmacy used to be wonderful. Ever since Dahlia retired the new manager is so rude and short on the phone, and always sounds annoyed! I wish I could go elsewhere for my medications because the thought of calling about my medications or eve asking questions related to a new prescription makes me feel incredibly anxious thinking about the guy answering and being condescending or short to me.

SKIP THIS HOSPITAL, DON'T EVEN CHECK IN. Worst ER and hospital ever. ER Reviews are on point, people just screaming and miserable and no one's doing anything besides the lovely receptionist lady, all the nurses and runners wipe their hands of any responsibility or assistance. The actual hospital is even worse. There are people screaming for help and for a nurse and they get intentionally ignored all night by the nurses. Horrible living conditions. Nurses barely do their jobs and aren't competent of how to perform basic nurse requirements. My first night, my nurse George just left me there for two hours without a call button, urinal, or anything. I was just left alone in the room. The doctors here can't figure out their jobs too, I got discharged with no improvement and pumped up full of drugs and constipation. Dr Kavita Moham is the worst doctor in this hospital, releasing me without improvement because she can't figure out what's wrong with me. The two physical therapist blondes are a joke too- they come in, make you go though the pain, say one thing to you, but then tell the doctor that you're all good to get dismissed where you can't even move. They don't even warn you this is a pre discharge consultation, they just tell you some things and, half of which you're not comprehending because of the pain level, and then they leave all googly headed. But it's typical Chicago people and they run this hospital like a mafia, not surprised at the quality of care I received here.

It's difficult to give a good review the staff is amazing. The nurses and doctors are professional and caring. The cleanliness and wait times are horrible

Was supposed to get a phone call at nine am to schedule a test. I foolishly thought the phone call would be on time. When I didn't get the phone call I tried calling myself. After almost an hour later, I called two different operators that hung up on me. I asked for a direct line. I was told I couldn't get one. After being hung up twice I asked to speak to a supervisor. They left a message and said that one would call me back. That was yesterday. Still no call. Also, I never got a phone call about scheduling my test.

Do not even try to make a online appointment many of the doctors office will not call you. All they care about is your money not your health. I been nauseous for over 5 years instead of finding out why my doctor just gives me nauseous medication. I have many doctors from 15 years to 1 year from Alexian brothers in Elk Grove which I am in the process of getting all my doctors out of Elmhurst because they seem to care more. When I had my last surgery to remove lung lobe that was cancer the nurses were not good at all. The lung surgeon would come in for a minute and leave. I have heart doctors, lung doctors, GI doctor, primary care doctor and ENT doctor and the only one that seems to really care is my ENT doctor. I am allergic to the old contrast dye before covid they had new contrast dye and I was fine now they use the old contrast dye that sent me to the emergency room twice BAD REACTION !

The doctors, for the most part, are competent and understanding. However, the facility is lacking. The only seating provided in patient rooms are folding chairs. Pretty difficult to deal with after several hours. Also, communication between doctors and the staff is poor. Orders get lost and patients sometimes are in pain when they shouldn't be. The nursing staff, for the most part, seem cold and uncaring. Finally, the patient I'm seeing is dying. The hospital doctor who visited was asked to step out into the hallway to speak to the family. She refused and insisted on talking to the patient directly. By the time she got done the patient was sobbing and demanding to sign out AMA without supportive pain meds. I thought she bordered on cruel.

doctors at Alexian Brothers come in to my room at 4pm on Christmas Day and proceed to tell me there sending me home. Good thing under normal circumstances, how ever it's Christmas. My family is not home and having come in by ambulance I have no house key or wallet. I advise the dr who never bothered to introduce himself that I have no way to get home nor a key to the house His response was not my problem call a lock smith. I said to him can I wait til my family can come get me. He replied no and not having a key is no reason to stay you need to leave. You kept your food down so you got to leave. Inside I lost it. Attempted to call admin. Oh wait it's Sunday and Christmas day. There not in. So now I sit at home still in stomach pain with a script for pain killer that can't be filled because... It's Christmas day. Worst experience ever. #worsehospitalever

I'm having issues with my finger. I really didn't want to go to the emergency room, but due to all the immediate care and urgent care locations were closing soon I had no choice. I was surprised on how busy they were on a Saturday and how fast I was in and out. I was expecting to be there for hours; but they had me triaged, x-rayed and diagnosed in about a little over 2 hours. Great job to the staff.

One of the worst emergency departments my family has ever had to deal with over a period of time.Waiting time in the ER in range from 3 1/2 hours to six hours. This is absurd for people who really do need help, whether it is kidney stones or other injuries. The wait should never be this long, regardless of how many ambulanceses come in!!! they may be shorthanded sometimes, but not all the time. And this is a direct show of how this department is run..... somebody needs to take a look at what's going on in peak times and down times... I definitely don't recommend this place.....

They don't even deserve one star. I use to like them until March 31, 2022. I had a surgery scheduled. They were told that I need an IV therapist because my veins don't like to cooperate. They knew the day before. They knew the day of. I arrived at the hospital and the prep nurse called for IV therapy. The nurse anesthetist cam in some time later and was informed that the prep area was waiting on IV therapy. I was told they were running late. I volunteered to wait. Next thing I know they are taking me to the OR, shuffling a mask on my face. Once I was out, they proceeded to stab me 7 different times. I was terribly bruised and sore for weeks after. I protested the whole time. When I brought this to the attention of the hospital. They didn't really care. I now go to a different medical center for services.

6 hour wait in the ER with no communication, been here since 1:00pm . Now at 7:30 at night, they are telling people the X-ray department is closed and they have to comeback tomorrow. Sad thing it was a young girl that was hit in the face by a softball at a game -- the folks need to really staff for a 24 hour ER or loose their trauma status and not be a 24 hour ER

Thank god for nurses! I went to the ER because I had a pain in my left ear so piercing, it woke me from my sleep! I went to the closeat ER, Alexian Brothers for help. The nurse looked in both wars and said the left ear appears to be impacted with wax buildup. She said the physician will most likely want to flush the ear. The physician came in, a pregnant white female, looked in both ears, told me everything is fine and pit in a prescription for 600mg Motrin! She didnt help me AT ALL! When she left the room, the nurse suggested some ear drops to help melt the wax. Its been 3 days and I am still in pain. I swear I feel it in my throat now. Unfortunately, my work week has started and I REFUSE to go back to Alexian. So I have to go into the city to get medical care. I would rate this at a 1 but the nurse at least tried to help me
