“Adorable ice cream shop in Elizabeth, IL, which is a town over from the more popular destination of Galena. We stopped by here for ice cream on our drive over to Galena, and we were so glad we did! I loved the cute pink decor. It's clear the owners took care in decorating it. I especially loved the bathtub filled with candy and the huge pink chair outside--perfect for photo ops! Three Sisters serves the "Chocolate Shoppe" brand of ice cream, which is based out of Madison, Wisconsin. This is definitely one of my favorite ice cream brands, so I decided to order a favorite: zanzibar chocolate. It did not disappoint! I got a kid scoop and my husband got one scoop. Take note that there is a big difference in scoop size between the kid and single scoop, and not that big of a price difference. So, for bang for your buck, I recommend going with a single scoop. Three Sisters is also involved in the community. Even though we didn't go to the Elizabeth Fair that was happening that weekend (99th annual), we saw a sign on the door that said Three Sisters was sponsoring an ice cream eating contest there the following day. Fun! We would definitely return to Three Sisters if we are ever in the area again.”
