Terrible place, terrible service. They have a watch for sale on eBay. Called to confirm it was available before driving an hour to check it out. When I arrived I was told they cannot let me see the watch unless I am 100% going to buy it. I asked how I could commit to spending $5k+ without even seeing it and they said "that's our policy, have a nice day". You really have to be desperate to shop at Windy City Pawn. I'll take my business elsewhere.

I’ll take my business elsewhere.1 - the reply from Windy City is bull. The person never said they could NOT open the safe and retrieve the watch. In fact, they offered to do so twice as long as I committed to buying it before hand. This place does not pride themselves on customer service, but what can you expect from a strip mall pawn shop.

Horrible customer service when you come! Kyle or John when he gave me his name laughed in my face! Said they would do the deal and then Gave me back an item and said I can’t misleading you right in there store to your face! Don’t come and get turned down most of the time with false hopes. Go to someone more reputable honest. Very unprofessional service I received and obviously won’t come back. They don’t seem like they want you to come back there anyways

Zero 0000 , very unprofessional place . My gf came here today to get a small loan and Jon asked Her where did she get Her items from and where did she buy them , as if she was being interrogated by the police. Who asks that at a loan pawn shop ? This is very unprofessional and you don’t ask people where they bought their items from as if your assuming their stolen . We have our iCloud accounts and FindMe attached to our phones so maybe in the future, DONT interrogate people thinking that they’re coming in to get a loan with stolen items !!!! FYI , I added pics to show that magically it accepted my fingerprint and it’s unlocked Wow!! Maybe it’s stolen ?

Gave me 24 hours to return a laptop if I didn't like it. Came the next day to return it because it was slow & couldn't get my money back, got offered store credit.. Who wants store credit to a pawn shop.. what ever happened to making the customer happy? Feels like I got robbed. I'll talk down on this place until the day I die
