Do not use the Pick Up at Meijer on Randall Road in Elgin, IL. Horrible job picking items out! The Lemon they gave me had brown stuff on it, was not in a plastic produce bag, & attached the sticker right to the Lemon! They also said they didn't have two of the other items in my order. I had to go insude to get something I forgot & found the other two items right on the shelves!

Mike, the Deli Manager, was exceptionally helpful with high customer service. Would definitely order sandwich platters again.

Needed to use restroom in an emergency situation. Gas station employee was rude, and showed no empathy or compassion. I understand that there is a staffing shortage, but you must be scraping the bottom of the barrel. Being told to use the stores' where its in the complete back is a joke. I cant imagine if an older person was put in this position what would happen.

My dad went here today and realized he lost his card. When he called and went in store multiple times (looking for 3 hours) to ask if they had his card multiple times, they said no and did not even bother looking. He dug through their trash cans for an hour to see if he accidentally dropped it in the cans in the cold and searching the parking lot. My mom later got lucky and saw that a lady facebook messaged her to tell her she had turned in the card. After, my dad went back into the store to tell them a lady did in fact turn in the card and they do have it. Two minutes later after they actually looked for it, they found it. I do not know what the employees intentions were and if they wanted the card or if they were just lazy. A friend of mine also relized their car was hit in the parking lot and they refused to check the cameras because they were too lazy. I work in retail aswell and this is not how you treat your guest! I hope in the future they can do better but i recommend not shopping here because they do not care about their guest.

We've been shopping here for years, but recently it has gone downhill. - There are so few cashiers that there's almost always a 20 wait to check out, no matter what day or time you go. - Many items are out of stock often. - These days many customers don't wear masks and the store manager doesn't have any interest in putting the health of the other customers first. There are too many better options in the area these days (Jewel, Fresh Market, Woodman's).

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I grew up going to meijer and loved it until now. I went to check out at the self checkout and the worker told me to go to the other side because she was about to close that side. As I'm walking away she proceeded to let other people go by to checkout. By far the most discriminating experience I've had at this location!

Their gas was 30 cents cheaper than other places but the gas station had several dead pumps (looked like they were broken for a while). Weird.

Really enjoy the remodel at Meijer. I live closer to a Walmart and Woodmans and I drive further for this Meijer. Store is setup in an intuitive way, shelves are faced, store is clean. Produce is decent. I also think they have good home goods selection.

Terrible store customer service. I can see why it only rated 3 stars. I bought an Apple gift card there for $200. The card was fraudulent, having been used up. I went there10 days ago to get my money back. The customer service manager, Julio, was rude, obnoxious and self-righteous. His direct supervisor, Tracie was supposed to call me back within 2 days. I finally called her -,turned out that idiot Julio did give me her my message. Stay away from store when that idiot Julio is on duty. The cashiers and clerks are very pleasant. but I wrote letter to Store Director Corey Coles 2 weeks ago - he never responded. What does that tell you about Meijer management? He's as bad as Allen Anderson at Jewel Osco on Summit in Elgin. Alan is an idiot. Tracie his manager did call me back but I had to call her first.

It's nice, clean and the new re-model in the middle section for the clothing is very nice. They always have yummy bakery items, the meat/cheese selection is great. Always good prices too. You can always find everything that you need here.

I needed to make a grocery trip to this Meijer last week so that I could get some groceries for quarantining (this is during the COVID-19 pandemic). My goal was to purchase as many items as I could so that I would not have to make another grocery trip for a while. I purchased a cart FULL of food and household goods and though my checkout took longer than a typical check out would, NICOLE the cashier, was very friendly and had a positive attitude. Another employee, ADRIAN, came over and told me and Nicole a joke to help make the checkout more enjoyable and ease the stress during this stressful time of COVID-19. It was refreshing to see employees make the most of being at work and even go out of their way to make customers smile! NICOLE AND ADRIAN's kindness was very much appreciated!

Haven't been there physically, but just got off the phone with Diane in customer service and she was extremely helpful and just so nice. Retail can be hard when you're dealing with so many different personalities and then you add in the current chaos you never know what you're going to encounter! So thank you to Diane for being such a great employee and person. Meijer should be proud!

They will not price match Amazon for video games and video game accessories, like DualShock 4 controllers, and the guy in the electronics department was kind of a dick about it. Additionally, their DualShock 4 controllers are $64.99, five dollars more than Sony's suggested retail price. They aren't even special edition ones. I've attached a pic I took on March 10th of their cooler with Fairlife milk in it. When the videos of horrific animal cruelty were revealed last summer, I made several attempts to contact somebody from Meijer via their Facebook page about their relationship with the supplier of Fairlife milk, Fair Oaks Farms. My messages were ignored, but I saw that they replied promptly to someone's complaint about their birthday cake. God forbid somebody's ruined birthday cake or whatever it was, but lets just ignore baby cows getting kicked, stabbed, and thrown about.

So I bought ribs here a few month back and they LITERALLY smelled like rotten eggs when I opened them. After telling my cousin about this he too said he had the same thing happen a year ago. Well I went back and bought some chicken breast from the butcher and oh boy am I sick. I would not recommend buying meat or deli from them EVER! The rest of the store is nice, but I prefer not being up all night with the shit's.
