I can’t say enough good things about this facility and the staff. My son started there in April, 2 years old and his first time in daycare. It was rough at first, but the staff welcomed him with loving arms and he has thrived so much there! Very clean place and very well organized. He loves going there now! 5 stars all around!

We started our son here when he was 7 months old. We loved the love and care that Gabby, Julie, Connie, and everyone else in rooms 1 and 2 provided. They had such great communication about how he was doing and how his day went. Shelly and Melissa are always there to say hello and wish you a great day on your way out or answer questions if you have them. We left the daycare to go to someplace a little closer to home and ended up coming back because we missed the care, love, and communication we were given here. When we returned, everyone greeted us with a "Welcome back! It's so great to have you all back!" We could not be happier with the staff here and the overall care our son receives!

DO NOT bring your kids here. The director has failed to listen to parents on what awful things Frank Walaitis has done to some children. They ignored the parents and continued to let him work there for many years after. He finally went to court and pleaded guilty. Shame on the directors and managers for ignoring this. Take your kids out of here now. I would be surprised if they don’t even tell the parents now about this.

We absolutely love the Learning Tree West. Our oldest daughter advanced tremendously since starting here as a young 1.5 year old. The teachers are compassionate and caring all while providing an engaging, immersive environment. The admin team is fantastic with communication and always willing to answer any questions. I highly recommend this daycare to anyone.

We’ve been a Learning Tree family for 7 years now and I cannot say enough good things about the school/camps. Our eldest, started there as a baby and went all the way through the kindergarten enrichment program and was so ready to tackle kindergarten. She returned for summer camp and had an absolute blast with daily field trips to fun places like top golf, otters cove, parks, etc. While the curriculum is comprehensive, fun, and prepared her with everything she needed, it is really the teachers and admins that make it feel like home. These teachers love my kids like their own and have been there to support us when we needed it most. Seven years ago, Ms. Natasa helped me through the transition of dropping my new baby off at a new daycare and made us feel right at home and updated us throughout the day, giving us the extra support when I needed it most. Ms. Connie was so thoughtful when we lost my father in law and when my daughter graduated kindergarten. Ms. Stephanie has been with our family since the beginning and has always helped me through all the tough and joyous moments of motherhood. Ms. Kelly worked with my daughter (and me) when she had anxiety about starting a new school, helping her to feel confident and excited about the next chapter. Ms. Mary has had both my children in her class and helped them both to learn patience and kindness in everything they do. I cannot say enough good things about all the teachers at the Royal location. I’m so glad my children had the opportunity to grow up there and would highly recommend it! ❤️

My daughter started right before the pandemic and then had to take her out and everyone was very accommodating and understanding in the uncertain time. It was an easy choice two years later to go back there when it was time for my dsughter to go back to daycare. The teachers and staff are all very friendly and nice. Very easy to communicate with and approach as needed.

Our daughter started here when she was 2 months old and was there until we moved to another town. The administrators are easy to work with and the teachers have left a positive lasting impression with my daughter. They kept her busy all day and she learned so much going there. I would highly recommend Learning Tree to anyone in the area.

We absolutely love The Learning Tree! We have two toddlers who have been attending since 2021 and 2022 and the care and attention we have received from the staff has been outstanding since day one. As a nervous first-time mom, Melissa, Shelly, and Kayla (administration) have always been active, kind listeners and given suggestions and reassurance whenever I needed it. Gabby, Julie, and Nancy (young infants) took amazing care of my littles from their first day at TLT - they are so sweet and fun, all of the babies love them. Connie, Yoselin, and Stephanie (older infants) helped my girls transition from crawling to walking and transition to table food seamlessly - they are so encouraging during what feels like a stressful time. Natasa, Heather, and Donna (room 3, toddlers) are the best - my girls love them and have so much fun improving gross/fine motor skills and language through fun activities and play based learning. My oldest daughter had Dahlia and Leslie in Room 6 and she absolutely thrived with them - corralling 12 2-year-olds is no small task but Dahlia and Leslie made it look easy; she still asks about them all the time and waves hi in the hallways. My oldest is currently with Coletta primarily (with occasional help from Sadie, Jade, Kara, and Ana) - she comes home with new words and knew knowledge every day and has so much fun at school, with an additional focus on social-emotional skills and learning to be a kind, helpful little person with Coletta’s guidance and TLT’s fantastic curriculum. The center offers extra “classes” that kids can sign up for (my daughter does Yoga once a week) and there are many family activities scattered on weekdays and weekends throughout the year that allow families to be truly present in their child’s growth and education. I would (and do!) recommend TLT to any parent, we have been so thrilled with the center.

This place is absolutely amazing. No matter what the staff always puts the children and families first at all costs! I’m so happy that I found this place. We love the learning tree Elgin west! Thank you guys for being amazing day in and day out!

If you ask around, “Learning Tree” will always be what people recommend for best daycare/preschool in Elgin. It’s very well-run with a great building/classrooms/playground and wonderful teachers. It’s been the perfect place for my daughter to grow.
