Just picked up my Lexus from here. Needed brake pads changed out. Bought them myself and figured I'd just drop it off and get it done quickly and avoid getting up-charged on price for parts. Was told I'd get a call back about pricing. Hours passed so I called. Turns out the service was done already even though I wasn't contacted. Asked the price, Sergio said $250. I would've never agreed to that but the service was rendered. Asked him why he didn't call me about the pricing beforehand but avoided answering. I get there and he said he'd only charge $200 as if that makes up for that business practice. Got in my car and my brake wear light was still blinking. He stated it was the front left caliper that was causing it so that's why he couldn't replace that respective brake pad. All this after a frustrating day of no communication and false promises of being called back. Ultimately decided to give him the benefit of the doubt.That brings us to today. I brought the car back for the caliper and remaining brake pad. He told me he'd only charge for the caliper (quoted at $125 previously). I was told I'd get a call back but had to reach out before they closed to see what was up. He told me it was finished and that the cost was $160. Why did the price change suddenly? He informs me that light is still on because of the sensor and to solve that would cost $111 for the last. A simple search online reveals a pair of sensors are $12. I understand they need to make a profit but that's just extortion. Why I gave him the benefit of the doubt, I don't know. Truly feel ripped off and I won't be going back to change my sensor or for any future business.
