The Place is In a basement so there is little to no reception when trying to bring up medical documents in digital for email submission and once I did have the document, their email address for this location kept bouncing back as not valid despite rechecking it several times as well as the receptionist checking it. The whole thing was way more aggravating than it needed to be. Make sure you have paper copies of everything. Some places still haven't moved out of the 90's.

My third time here. Every time I have been in, there has been only one employee but the intake/phlebotomist is always courteous and professional. I failed to ask for her name but she is awesome.

Horrible experience!Phlebotomist was Indian phlebotomist took blood on baby's finger instead of heel puncture the next day received message we need recollection. After that traumatic experience we will never come back Please make sure your staff are capable of doing accurate procedures and can do their job well very disappointed!

My visit to Labcorp was great - the only exception would be a note that the office is in the basement of the building would have saved me a few minutes. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. Check in tablet was easy to use. I did make an appointment and was called in early. The blood draw was the first in my life that I never felt the needle (but did see it drawn :) ) Glad I went.

the two women there were extremely rude and not helpful, they sent me and a very elderly person across the street multiple times. when we came back they were visibly laughing at us, would not recommend.

Receptionist was on the phone with her children or something while I was trying to check-in with her. It took extremely long.

Came on a Saturday and only 1 person working there. Many people waiting because of that. Also many people seemed to have trouble unless they had the proper paperwork. Place is in the basement. So enter and take elevator down.

I brought my daughter that has Down Syndrome and hates blood work to the Elgin location. I should mention I'm on crutches and was struggling at the self check in station. Paige stepped in and scanned my documents for me very cheerfully even tho I'm sure I uttered an expletive in frustration before she got there. She also took blood from my child without issue who normally needs a few people to hold her in place. She was awesome! What a wonderful asset to your company! Thank you Paige.

Horrible experience. If you are going to work in the health sector you need to have ethics, humanity and common sense. All of these are non-existent at this place!!

I've always had a great experience here. The staff is very friendly and I've hardly ever had to wait more than a few minutes before they call me back.

I can't express how much I loved this place!!!! I have Vasovagal Syncope with my blood being drawn and I was very nervous to get my labs done yesterday. On top of that, I was dealing with some very heavy emotional stuff. I made an appt online which was very simple. I did have a little trouble finding the place but now knowing it is in the Greater Elgin Family Center and in the basement, I can find it much easier. The location itself is a little narrow and small but I went inside checked in with my barcode and waited to get called in. I know some people may judge a place by its cover but don't! I spoke with the phlebotomist and explained my reaction with my blood being drawn. She was extremely nice and accommodating explaining she would put me on the floor. I was nervous but she was just so reassuring and had me lay down. I had an ice pack and she gave me another one. Talked to me the whole time and I didn't pass out. To be perfectly honest I didn't feel a thing! The whole experience was so positive I will definitely be going back if I need any labs done. Thank you thank you so much!

Terrible experience and service. I went for a routine wellness check for my insurance and made an appointment for 8:30 AM online. Upon arriving 15 minutes early, I was told to check in using the kiosk. Someone was already using it and after waiting I filled in my information.

We were refused the service because we got there 10 minutes before the closing time. We were told that the machine takes 30 minutes to process the blood. We tried to plead with the receptionist since my husband had to fast for the test for 12 hours and is a diabetic. I could not find any written policy that states that you have to arrive 30 minutes before the closing time. A little bit more of humanity required!!!
