This is a great little grocery store. Lots of interesting and exotic ingredients. The manager was friendly and helpful in explaining what certain produce was and how to prepare it. They also had bánh mì and other prepared food for take-out that I'm looking forward to trying.

I celebrated my PhD yesterday in this delicious restaurant. happy to tell that we had a tremendous evening and the place was indeed one of the reasons for this strong evening. The crew participated in a graceful way, the food was yummy and my guests were extremely delighted. We shall absolutely visit again for more events. thanks very much.

They have most Asian ingredients and also carry roast duck that they bring from Chicago every Friday, normally around 12pm.

The place has the best Lao Sausage!!! You can order it cooked or frozen. The owner makes it fresh. I'm definitely coming back!

I only do pick up here. I am not a fan of the restuarant area. The food and price are a perfect value and they are open late. I wish they had a drive thru

I love the food here! I've only ever gotten food to go, never eaten in. Every time it has been hot and delicious when I got it home. The portions are generous and very reasonably priced. They have always been great about requests too. The burritos are my favorite-- they are the best (or as good) as any I've had anywhere else! I recommend El Faro first to anyone looking for great Mexican food.

Small store front, but very big inside. They are definitely more friendly and helpful than Golden Market. Prices are higher than Chicago stores, but it's 5 minutes from my house. They also have a good variety of hard to find SE Asian ingredients! Locally owned and family run!

Friendly, affordable, and lots of variety! I had a craving for dumplings and when I first walked in I was worried they didn't have any until I realized that this place is much larger than you would think and has a whole back area full of freezers. With everything from soups to spices to fresh veggies, you'll find tons of authentic Asian grocery products at a very reasonable price. I do wish they had a little more to choose from in the dumpling category but we can't always get what we want :)
