They worked on the toilet all night, I couldnt go to sleep. Worst nice hotel ive been to. They upcharged me $50 more than the quote which isn’t significant but for what i paid for Id rather have stayed at a cheap rate motel because thats the quality I received.

This will sound silly to most people, but why would a beam be placed right over the bathroom vanity? My husband is tall (6'5"). Who would think they can't lean in? Thankfully, no blood was drawn, but we haven't left yet!

My family had a lunch gathering there with family today. The service was outstanding. This team went above and beyond when it comes to service. Whoever trained this team knows customer care and should be proud of there team accomplishment.

We attended a family wedding on Jan 13th and the service we received was exceptional . The food catered by the hotel was delicious , the beef choice was tender and moist and all the other entrees was yummy. We stayed a couple of nights and from the checkin process ,to the breakfast buffet managed by Ana , to the clean rooms and comfortable beds , our experience was FIVE STAR rating and we will definitely have many more family events booked here. Convenient 20 minute ride to the airport is a plus ! THANK YOU TO THE MANAGERS AND STAFF ! We will be back !Rooms: Very very nice decor and very clean rooms !Food & drinks: Bennigan’s was a very conveniently located in- hotel restaurant and it helped us get through dinner during the winter storm blizzard . Food was delicious .

The staff are friendly, the property is clean, and the on-site amenities are just what a family traveling with children need.

TV was small… hot water didn’t work in the sink and the heater was blowing hot for ten minutes then 20 minutes

Best place to stay. All the fun in one place. Pricing is very reasonable especially if you are a rewards guest. Definitely will be back.

Hotel was clean, comfortable, & quiet. Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. We are platinum IHG members so got a free upgrade, late check-out (thanks!), and were able to pick free breakfast vouchers as our welcome amenity (which was awesome). We had a 1 king bed suite with a connecting basic 2-queen room. There was a separate sleeping area (but not a whole separate room) from the lounging area. You can see pictures. The workout room was basic but nice. The pool and hot tub were both excellent! The pool was truly heated -- probably just under bath-water temp (which is nice since it was January!). The hot tub was amazing, nice and big. Thanks so much for having one! So many places now don't.Suggestions for improvement: If I was nitpicking, I'd say breakfast was "decent" but not great. Bacon was dried out. I would also add that the closing time of breakfast was too early (9:30). That needs to be kept open until at least 10 AM for late risers.Having said that, overall I still give 5 stars! Would absolutely return.

Made a last minute reservation and they were really nice about it. Vonetta was super helpful with answering my questions, giving me a late check out, and telling me about all of the services they provide and all about the restaurant. I loved it there and will definitely be going back again. Thank you so much Vonetta you’re awesome!!

We eat at Bennigans almost every Friday for their all u can eat fish. Bennigans is inside the Holiday Inn. The fish is Cod, very mild fish. U can get it fried or grilled. I prefer the grilled. Fried is also good but too greasy for my Stomach. Try the Fish on Friday. Oh, u can get regular tartar sauce or the jalapeño tartar sauce. I prefer the jalapeño. Delish! They are really packed on Friday so just expect it. It's worth any wait. We are usually seated soon. So don't worry. Eric the mgr is awesome! Greets us at our table everytime. Very personable, like talking to a friend. Great customer service. U will like Eric as much as we do?

Beds and pillows were amazing, so comfy and the linens smelled SO good, clean and fresh. They were so welcoming towards my husky dog. There was several grassy areas outside of the hotel where he could relieve himself, and a post with disposable bags for clean up. The room and bathroom were very clean. Our room had a mini fridge, coffee/tea maker and microwave. For $14 a person the breakfast buffet downstairs near the main lobby was delicious, hot and fresh. Kids eat free. The lady working in that area was so accommodating and nice. She gave us to go boxes so that we could take it up to our room. We also had a vending machine and ice maker right outside of our room. We booked through a 3rd party website and had no issues with checking in or out. Would definitely recommend especially to someone traveling with pets.

I stayed a couple of nights and then came back the next week after traveling. When I came back, the elevator was broken, which made my stay as someone with physical limitations (as well as the other two guests who had to take the stairs) and service dogs impossible so I had to stay somewhere else (they also charge a NON-REFUNDABLE 150$ CHARGE for SERVICE DOGS "because they have to actually clean the room" even though I was told the entire floor I was staying on was dedicated to guests with dogs) The young woman at the front desk that evening had a terrible attitude and I doubt she was just having a bad day; it seemed more like she simply isn't suited for face-to-face customer interactions (she couldn't control her eyerolling and tone of voice) Her supervisor (young black woman who checked me in during my first stay) was better though and it was nice sharing pics of our pitbulls and she seemed to understand my needs. The room was clean. My injured back was thankful for the heat from the hot tub I had all to myself for 2 days. DO NOT eat at Bennigans. I happen to have opened that location in 1998 so I was hoping to enjoy a nostalgic dinner there. The food made me sick, again. (the place has been known to serve underdone chicken and salads so soaked in pesticides that my body immediately rejects it. I ordered something else that ALSO made me sick that night. Couldn't even feed it to the dogs because the potatoes were half onions not listed in the ingredients. Whatever the "sauce" they pour over their "steaks" should be banned) Know that your Bennigans server is an employee of the hotel. I highly recommend either Alexander's right across the street (long-time local owners also of Rookies and Village Squire Pizza and wonderful humans) or Cali Bbq just north on RT31 (get the tri-tip, a cut you can't typically get in the Midwest. Their sauce is made with habanero, LOVE) The hotel location is right at Interstate 90, which will take you into Chicago proper and West to Rockford as well as north and south via RT31. There's a Park and Ride on RT90 with free parking roughly 2 miles from this location (no overnight parking) This is also not your only lodging choice within steps of this hotel.Rooms: CleanNearby activities: None. I take that back, Santa's Village, an amusement park for children is in nearby Carpentersville. If you like to drive to activities, it is on Rt90 which is an hour away from Chicago properWalkability: I score it a walkability scale of 2, depending on what you'll need during your stay.Food & drinks: DO. NOT. EAT. AT. BENNIGANS.

This location lowered the reputation of the brand for me. The customer service team needs a refresher course. The accommodations were adequate, but not a great value for the price. The highlight of this location was having Bennigan's onsite.
