While on vacation (a 3 week road trip). One night I was scanning the web for a used Mercedes Benz S550 and came across Chicago Auto Capital of Elgin. This car was what I was looking for. Reviews for the dealership was very good as well - but I was a bit hesitant when we went to look at the car. This was not a typical dealership - it was located in a business office park.....some cars in the parking lot, others in a storage building. As it turned out the owner Farhan was fantastic, not pushy, very knowledgeable and upfront in all aspects. So we left his office and told him we would think about it and get back to him while we continued our road trip vacation. We did some more research on them and again all looked very well, so we called Farhan and requested if he would bring the car to the local Mercedes dealer for a pre purchase inspection (on my dime)- and he did without hesitation - I received the report from the dealership, Farhan repaired one of the issues and the rest were of little concern. We completed the deal over the phone with Farhan and my bank while still on the road trip. At the end of ort vacation we stopped in to pick up the car and continued home. It's now been over a month and we just love the car with no issues....well....still waiting for the owners book from Farhan :-) This was the most easy car buying experience I have ever had. On a 1-10, I would give Chicago Auto Capital an 11!!
