.BUYER BEWARE - Poor Integrity & Shyster Salesman. Do not uphold their word or the Illinois Lemon Law. November 28, 2023, I purchased a 2015 Dodge Challenger with a Supercharger from Paul as a gift for my fiancé and I for Christmas. We notice the transmission slipping in 4th gear. A warranty was offered on the transmission specifically, since Butera had recently replaced it and put in a brand new transmission. Illinois "lemon law" requires (as I've learned AND as Paul explained to me during the purchase) that specific parts of a vehicle (motor, transmission, etc.) must all remain in working condition within the first 15 days of purchase or 500 miles, whichever comes first. I spent $800 to have the car towed to the transmission shop that offered the warranty and back home, Zero help He laughed and said that my fiance and I had to be "drag racing" the car and beating it - but keep in mind, we only drove the car a handful of times (mostly for maintenance and check ups) and only drove just over 300 miles total, majority of it was from driving it home from Elgin, taking it to three areas to service the car This was in DECEMBER, where there is snow out on the ground and freezing . That is the ONLY argument that Paul has given us - that Ace Transmission said this. When you read the reviews of Ace Transmission, there are COUNTLESS records of people also saying they don’t honor warranties.I even offered to be the bigger person and pay for half of the transmission out of my own pocket so that Butera was not entirely stuck with the bill - even though this has absolutely nothing to do with me. When my fiancé noticed after taking it to the store (that's only 7 minutes from the house) that it seemed to be shifting oddly, she immediately pulled over and called me to come take a look at it, since we were both paranoid of a brand new car I did notice that there was a slip in the 4th gear. The car actually went into limp mode for a bit, but we were able to get it back home, to which I immediately then had it towed to Ace Transmission. Again - zero neglect here with the car. We were extremely careful and cautious of it. We aren't kids interested in taking this car to the race track - I'm a 53 year old man Unfortunately, it blew up in my face purchasing this from Shyster Paul. We also noticed, after looking further into this, that Paul had FRAUDLUENTLY written down an incorrect mileage on the paperwork when this was sold to me, so that we would more quickly go over the lemon law's 500 miles. Fortunately, I was smart enough to take a photo of the mileage when I first was inspecting the car for purchase. This is a car with only 35,000 miles on it and a brand new transmission - APPARENTLY, the third one, according to Ace Transmission, so clearly there's an issue with getting the car synced and timed properly. Paul is also unknowledgeable about what he is selling. I took the car to a Dodge dealership's mechanic to be looked over. It’s not an 800-1000 HP car like advertised, yes it's modified, but it's more like around 600 hp. It also has a stock transmission and stock torque convertor. The reason this is happening with the transmission - according to MULTIPLE specialty mechanics - is that the car is not being synced properly with the computer. Paul offer of, "Sure, bring the car back I'll take it back but pay $7,000 to replace the transmission and a restocking fee and i'll take it," is f*** insulting. If you look on Youtube at "AJ Sick" "Procharged SRT Challenger from Texas", Paul salesman there's a video that shows this specific car when it was being sold, AND THE VIDEO SHOWS THE 4th GEAR IS SLIPPING. Yes, he nailed the car and got into it- clearly it's not us that was beating on the car. This was after the transmission was fixed, and before we purchased the car from you. Outstanding in every way! Communication was great - Paul & AJ always returned my calls and responded to my texts in a reasonable time! The 2010 Yaris I bought had the lowest miles of 45 Yaris vehicles listed on a popular car buying site in the 2009 to 2011 range. For its age and mileage, the car was listed a little lower than the average of all the other vehicles with comparable mileage. The Carfax report was very detailed and provided a great history of the vehicle to help make a decision to buy this car. This is a very professional dealership and I highly recommend them if you’re looking to buy a used vehicle.

This is our second purchase from them. We bought our first one when they were with another company but we followed them. They’re very professional. They are very honest they tell you upfront what can be done and the vehicles that they pick are decent vehicles highly recommend that you go see AJ.

Great customer service, very friendly environment. I understand when you sell the vehicle you go with the car Fax report also honesty goes along way.Tje van I brought had previous accedent and been covered up.I only can give you the benefit of doubt if you know or not.I have changed my rating to 4 stars. I have to say from communication to explaining their services after my purchase in great detail, this is one of my top 3 locations to buy from! Definitely plan to call AJ and the guys up later when I’m looking for another ride to add to my collection! ?????I’ll be posting updated photos here in 2 weeks when I’m on home time after I get my 1st round of goodies installed on my truck!¡!Thanks again guys!

Inquired about a few different trucks over the phone before showing up to come check them out in person. Both Paul and Alex were extremely helpful and well prepared on all the details. I was in and out in less than an hour with my new truck! Super satisfied and would recommend them for future use considering I had a great experience. Fastest car buying experience ever! Great service. AJ was super personable. Bought a 2012 Lincoln Navigator and it is CLEAN… & doesn’t even have 60K miles. Their inventory is unique and they got some NICE looking vehicles. Definitely check them out!

Beware with this place. Don’t place a deposit on any vehicle because they won’t refund it if you change your mind and find a different vehicle. They sell cars over their book value too. I was genuinely interested in doing business with them but ultimately found a different vehicle and they refused to give back my refund and were upset because I didn’t buy their car and so called wasted their time. Keep in mind I was gonna purchase out of state too. I was kinda forced to place a deposit with the guarantee it’s refundable, but only apparently if i actually find something wrong with the car. Well yea the price was over 5k above market so I found something better but they don’t see it my way.
