They honored the warranty even though the mileage was a couple thousand miles over the limit. Saved us a bundle of dough. Highly recommend these folks.

I wanted to sell my Subaru. Did online evaluation on their site and got an online offer. Then I get a cal from them asking me to come in for inspection and a possibility of a better offer. I drove 60 mins, just to go there for no negotiation, no inspection and just being told that the online offer is the only offer. This could be an easy phone conversation without the hassle of me going there for a 2 hours drive.

Our experience was amazing from start to finish. We were fortunate enough to adopt one of the many Envigo beagles last year ( Fry aka now Milo [ CMJ CID ], and wanted to support the business that was a huge part in all of their recoveries. Dan was a pleasure to work with, as was the entire team ( Jim the GM and Jeremy in finance). Couldn’t be happier with our decision, and really loving our 2024 Outback. You have customers for life, and Milo sends big hugs of appreciation for connecting him to our family.

Brilliance Subaru is not your typical dealership, they are not pushy or looking to make quick buck. I was in the car buying process fro about 3-4 months. They were patient and understating and kept my best interests in mind. Phil, Mike, and Jason were great to work with! Because of them I was able to take my time and end up with the right car for me. Did I mention they are are also great advocates for animal adoption? If your looking a for a truly great experience make sure your first stop is Brilliance Subaru.

Great service, our salesman was very patient and knowledgeable about the Subaru products, and never pressured or rushed us. The finance manager was equally helpful in exposing the many options regarding warranty coverage and service plans. This was the first time buying a car was a pleasant experience! Thank you, Ed T. & the Subaru Team! From Debbie and Rich Bernau

We called ahead re: 2 used cars we wanted to see. When we arrived, the cars were pulled up at the front entrance and ready to view.. The salesperson (Keith) did a good job of reviewing the features, providing pricing, etc. The main area of the dealership was much more pleasant because there was no blaring music. We decided to not buy a car at the present time, so I can't comment on the service dept, etc. If you need a break from loud music that prevents you from thinking, I recommend checking out this dealership

I bought my used 2018 Legacy here with a 100K wtty. I've always had my oil changed here because they rotated my tires and did a multipoint inspection as well. At 89K the transmission had to be replaced. At100K I was told I needed around $4k in repairs. Lower ball joints and an engine oil leak. How did all this happen in the 6k miles since my last oil change? I can ONLY assume its because my wtty expired 1k miles ago. I know how to do many repairs on cars. When you rotate tires, worn ball joints are very apparent. They also don't wear out of spec in 6k miles. BEWARE. I also contacted they're customer service manager ina follow up. I explained the situation. Her response was to blow me off. No reassurances, no attempt to negotiate costs, just a " Have a nice day". This is my first and last Subaru. I've read many customer complaints on Subaru forums about terrible transmission problems and engine leaks/ failures. BEWARE OF SUBARU.

My service is always exceptional at Brilliance. Yesterday I an emergency because my car was making a strange noise. I drove straight to the dealership and the service department got me right in and fixed it immediately! Now that’s exceptional service!

After purchasing my car from them 2 and a half years ago I noticed a steady decline in service and things wrong after service so I'd half to bring it back. They used to wash the car too. That must no longer be a perk for the oil change and tire rotation. Last time I was there they didn't even rotate my tires. Afterwards they asked how the service was and I said, not good. I recieved an email to contact this woman there and no one ever answered the phone. Seems like they could care less Either way, just letting you know my experience. I'm gonna find a new place.

Started going to Brilliance since they opened in 2014 and I've never had a better experience with a Subaru dealer! Just purchased my first car from them and am EXTREMELY happy with them. I've been servicing my old Outback with them and they are great! Tell you what needs to be done and don't try and sell you service that you don't need like changing the winter air to summer air in the tires (yes, that happened to a friend of mine). I'm happy to report that my 8th Subaru was purchased here! Keep up the great work!

I can't say enough about this dealership. They have been amazing, we just purchased our second Subaru from them and we had an awesome experience. Everyone was so good to us Ed Troike was our Sales Associate and took care of my son (who was purchasing a new WRX) like his own son, Mike the sales manager was very personable and took time to chat, the General manager came over to say hi and made us feel like old friends. The finance Associate Jeremy was really good with my son working through the details of his first car loan. I would highly recommend Brilliance Subaru to anyone looking for a new car.

I want to share with everyone my wonderful experience with this dealership!I purchased a used vehicle from Brilliance Subaru which was in excellent shape.Unfortunately, I experienced a transmission issue after driving the car for a week, it appeared it was so minor to be caught by the dealership mechanic.I have been told I must talk to Mr.Jim Daluga the general manager I called him and he knew all the details about the purchase and my complaints. He listened carefully to me and gave me two options, either return the car and receive the full credit or take it to a local dealership and they pay all the repair costs. That was a great offer! I chose to return it after two weeks of driving the car.Once I got to the dealer, with no further questions or discussion he had all the paperwork ready and the purchase price check plus my travel expenses ready, and he apologized for any inconveniences and bad experience I had about that car, I signed a paper and picked up my check and left.Truthfully, it was an amazing experience, Jim and his staff treat their customers the way you think you are an important person once you walk into the dealership.I am so pleased to do more business with them bc they are more than fair, honest, and trustworthy.

Do not under any circumstances go to Brilliance Subaru Service Center Elgin. See below:- I brought my car in for new tires and alignment last Saturday, a good $1,274 job, and came in with a dent I was aware of that I was going to bring into a body shop this week to have fixed. After I brought it to Brilliance it’s obvious someone either tried to push the dent out or damaged it in another way.- When I called them today and spoke to Rich Dencs, to simply ask for the footage in case I needed it for the insurance claim to get the original dent repaired, I was greeted with nothing but hostility. For 5 minutes I was in-directly called a liar, for example “why would we have done that when we’ve never done that before”. I have pictures of the dent originally and took pictures after and it’s obvious someone tampered with it. For the record I wasn’t pointing the blame, I was simply asking for the shops footage. And to end the conversation before I hung up on him for the unbelievably unprofessional remarks, he said and I quote “well you you’ve never worked in an auto shop before”.- When I first had the vehicle diagnosed for abnormal wheel vibrations at highway speeds they told me the $70 diagnostic fee would be put toward the cost of the repair, which was false. Not $1 from the diagnostic fee was put toward the wheel and alignment cost.- They updated my stereo without asking me.- They didn’t put covers on my leather seats which got them dirty and I had to spend 30 minutes cleaning the seat after.- They parked my car (backed in), left it in 1st gear with the parking break on, and didn’t tell me… YOU ALWAYS TELL THE OWNER WHEN YOU LEAVE THEIR CAR IN GEAR!!If you have to take your car to a Subaru dealer, do yourself a favor and take it somewhere else.

Just bought a used car here and it was easy as pie! The sales man wasn’t pushy and stayed with me through the whole thing while I contacted my bank over the multi day process. So if you’re looking for a used car I would check their inventory because they are great people! Thank you Ed!
