815 N Main St, Elburn“CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT MY P.O. IN N. AURORA. THE MGR. DAVID, IS AMAZING. AND SOO HELPFUL ESPECIALLY WITH SENIORS. FOR THE PERSON WHO SAID SHE HAD TO WAIT 10 MIN. IN LINE WITH A SERVICE DOG IN HER ARMS, SHE SHOULD HAVE SET HER PLACE IN LINE SAYING TO THE PERSON BEHIND HER I'M IN LINE BUT CAN'T STAND LONG. AND THERE IS A SEAT RIGHT AT THE END THERE WHERE YOU CAN SIT. THIS IS A SMALL P.O. AND JUST BECAUSE WE ARE DISABLED THERE ARE TIMES WE REALLY DON'T NEED TO BE FIRST IN LINE. IT'S OUR TURN TO BE POLITE AND BLESS SOMEONE ELSE THAT HAS PAIN WE CAN'T SEE. HOPE THIS HELPS. THESE EMPLOYEES ARE THE BEST. AND SO ARE MOST ALL THAT COME HERE TO MAIL THINGS. WE HAVE A GREAT LITTLE TOWN OF POLITE AND HELPFUL PEOPLE I FEEL SOO GREATFUL TO LIVE IN N. AURORA. AS I AM VERY VERY DISABLED IN MANY WAYS. BUT MY HEART AND SPIRIT ARE FULL OF LOVE AND GRATITUDE FOR MY LORD BRINGIING ME TO N. AURORA 18YRS. AGO.”

202 S Randall Rd Unit B, Elgin“The employees here are wonderful, hard working people. The customers leaving 1 star reviews are most likely the same customers I see in line giving the employees attitude and being outright less than humanly decent towards them. The workers here certainly don’t get paid enough to deal with the BS they deal with on a regular basis. I regularly ship items having my own online pop up shop, and I have never had an unpleasant experience (I’m there probably twice a week). There is always self service if the line is longer than expected and its always super clean and professionally run! 10/10 experience always.”
“What a great post office with small hometown feel. Jackie and Ken are so nice. Rarely a long line unless we all decide to go at the same time. But even if there's a line I don't mind because they have all of the other post offices in the area beat in customer service. And I'm pretty sure they offer all of the same services as the big ones, just with a smile. service”
“I go to the post office almost everyday so when I say that this Post Office is one of the best in the area I mean it. The staff is friendly and respectful. They will help you out and tell you at least what you can do if you have an issue. Especially the guy that’s usually on the far left register who wears glasses when you’re looking at the counter. Staff will actually treat you with respect and they definitely don’t talk trash to customers like other USPS’s.
They have things set up so that you can use the manual scanning machine to check in your packages (if you want a receipt) and then you can put your packages on the counter all the way on the right end of the blue front counter where the counter dips a little. You will see other packages sitting there. I have never had an issue with this post office. I have never had a lost package I dropped off here. Of course you can always scan and put in the box like normal, or you can also just wait in line if your not comfortable using the manual machine. (But it does save a lot of time. Just remember that your package isn’t OFFICIALLY scanned in until it’s scanned by a USPS employee, but that’s just a legal disclaimer.)
Like I said no issues ever at this post office. Sometimes the lines get a little long but that’s only because the other Post Offices in the area are known to be awful. There should be a big difference in the star rating between here and other USPS’s. Far better than the most other Post offices in the area.
BTW; Another great location is North Aurora. If you live in the area I would try to go to either one.
One last note…(Avoid Batavia USPS like the plague. I have seen those employees get away with EVERYTHING. They are so bad I am mentioning it in another USPS review just as a courtesy, but if you want to see how hard it is to terminate a USPS employee visit Batavia post office…)
Hope this helps!!”
“Great post office branch! Employees friendly and helpful. One of the best branches in the area! There are a few branches that are absolutely terrible, but I’ve been going to the Sugar Grove location for several years and I’ve always had good experiences. Recommend!”
“Needless to say this location is a surprise every time you walk in. More times than none you walk in and you have a clerk that seems irritated with their job and they want nothing to do with waiting on a customer. I've even had clerks see the size of the packages that I had to send out and they left the window and made me have to ring the bell for service and a new clerk came out.I run a non-for-profit and I was sending out free items to people in need and I had touched base with a clerk named AMY. She helped me to estimate how much these packages would be to flat rate mail them back to the customers so I could collect the money from these customers before shipping. She was the most pleasant clerk I have ever went into in this location and it has made me change my attitude towards going to this location because I've always had awful experiences. The reason for the five-star rating is BECAUSE OF AMY. If I walk in the location and Amy is not there I will take my business elsewhere. I have never had a good experience with any other person but her. I'm just going to consider her my personal meal service lady. She's fantastic. If you see her give her an air hug because she deserves it.”
“This is the big town post office with the friendly small town feel. They seem to know when to hold my mail and when to forward it. Elburn Post Office is an excellent model for public employees.”
