It took a little while but I understand. Everyone should take their hi performance car to Jim! He has my Nova running WAY better than before! Best mechanic in town in my opinion! He takes his time and does it right! Thanks Jim!!

Dude is a rip off. I don't recommend you deal with him. He'll keep your car forever and mess it up in the end. Be cautious!!

Jim is very unprofessional and does not do work in a timely manner. He will do work that he thinks is needed on your car instead of what you ask for. Will charge for work you do not approve.

Terrible experience! Jim was absolutely disrespectful during the process. I paid Jim the full amount upfront when I dropped my car off and he let it sit with him for 2 months without touching it at all. He will give you every excuse in the book on why he can’t get the car tuned and give no type of commitment as to when he will work on your car. He tried to make it seem like I was bothering him by wanting to know when he’d have the work done that I paid for. With the excuse of he’s the only one that tunes. That’s a poor excuse because you’re either overbooking or just putting cars ahead of mine. To add to that, any mechanic can only work on 1 car at a time and having my car for 2 months waiting to be tuned only is just crazy but I was patient. Finally after 2 months he tells me that I owe him another $530 for work that I did not approve. To make things worse, he said that he tuned me down to 490hp when I was previously around 650hp, my car is 485hp stock! His reason is that his “performance” tunes won’t pass emissions so he put an “emissions” tune on it. Maybe there’s something I don’t know about a tune not passing emissions but I live in Missouri and do not want to have to drop my car back off every 1-2 years for months on end so that it can pass emissions. So I paid $850 upfront, then after 2 months of doing nothing to my car, you want to hold my car hostage over $530 for work that I didn’t tell you to do and detuned the car by close to 200hp. I have screen shots that verify everything and I’m wondering if this is what he does to everyone or just me for some reason. Now I have to go somewhere else and pay them to tune my car all over again. Ultimately you do not deserve to have my money because I did not receive the service that I paid for and I would like a full refund.

He had my sons vet for a while, but it was well worth the wait. He is very picky about his work and only wants to do the best job on your car.
