Don't walk, run away from the Berkshire folks!Listing agent listed the home I purchased as an "Elite" property. Protip: Elite means the house is old and you're going to have repairs to do! Listing agent kept claiming home had an appraisal value above market value but could not produce the documents -- what a cunning way to negotiate a higher price (didn't know this was going to be a car lot style negotiation). My buying agent wasn't very helpful during the process and I often had to contact her multiple times. As you would imagine this pushed deadlines too close to the end to really do certain changes. Home inspector recommended by my agent didn't do a proper inspection, having issues with the home 6 months later. New issues on the elite property seem to crop up every month. Hasn't even been a year.I got taken advantage of by this agency as many do in real estate. Very very disappointed in this company, honestly not much I can do as they're a huge conglomerate. You have been warned!
