“Good variety of prepared dishes and trays. Cakes and doughnuts always fresh. If you don't see something you like they will make to order whatever you desire given enough lead time. Small and large quantities available.”

“I really saved a lot of money. I hadn't been there for a long time but I will be going back. Even brand name products are cheaper than you can get them at Walmart. The only thing they don't carry are sugar free products”

“I love shopping at Aldi's, but I am very irritated about the Instacart online order I recently did. I had a large order online, and because of the size of the order, I was informed that my pickup was free. I noticed a few items that seemed more expensive than usual, but prices fluctuate. After my pickup. I had a couple of additional items I needed, so I went into the store. My receipt from the pick-up was on my phone, and I discovered a mumber of items were 30 cents cheaper in the store that was on my pickup receipt. I don't think my pick-up is "free" if i am being overcharged for items.I don't really mind being charged for the convenience of a pick-up order. However, when you are basically sneaking in charges on customers and telling them the service was free, I find that unethical and deceptive.”

“I'm LOVING the new location. It's always clean and well stocked, and the people that work there are fantastic! Super polite and efficient, just like my brain associates with Aldi. It's a nice store. I get whatever I can here.”

“I want to thank the florist department for their kindness and thoughtfulness. Last weekend I was shopping with my kids and my son began to have a meltdown. The florist department brought him over a balloon and saved the day! This week when we were grocery shopping they noticed my son looking at the flowers and offered him one flower to take with him and he was thrilled! Awesome individuals with kind hearts. Thank you from one happy customer and momma ♥️”

“This location now has the Sterzing Potato Chips from Iowa and they are good thick chips similar to a kettle chip. They are made with Soybean Oil & Cottonseed Oil. We also want to try this locations grill. They will make a burger while you wait.”

“The Morton Kroger has been updated and is the cleanest and best stocked Kroger store in the Tazewell County area. They seem to generally have plenty of cashiers available and a fresh inviting produce section. There is a Starbucks right inside the store entrance. No deals there just the convenience of one stop shopping. A few observations: -They have a loyalty program where you register and trade your buying history for fuel points (rewards) toward the purchase of gas at the Kroger fuel station. In order to get the lowest advertised store price on Kroger merchandise you have to scan your card or provide your phone number. A strategy might be to use a common family phone number to more quickly build rewards. -Rather than BOGO their deal is Buy 5 Save 5. So on a frozen vegetable instead of paying the Kroger loyalty price of 2.29 you pay 1.29 each if you buy 5 in the same brand and category. Seems like a deal if they have sufficient stock when you are shopping. Wednesday is when the weekly store ad/specials drop so probably the best day to shop. -They have a 'Last Chance' section where they offer clearance prices on stickered merchandise. Aisle 8 when I was there. A quick scan and a check of expiration dates can net a bargain. -Kroger offers online digital coupons that you can clip after you download and register through their app. Check the app privacy details for the many ways Kroger can gather and sell your personal information including to third party advertisers.”
