“Allesia at the front desk is so awesome. She greeted me as I approached her check in desk and was super friendly throughout the entire check in process. A lot of places ask in their surveys if you would hire this person to work for you or with you and my answer for Allesia is ABSOLUTELY!!Food & drinks: The breakfast here is always hot and fresh. Albert is always incredibly nice and fun to talk with.”

“Mostly everything is great except the breakfast and the Internet. The breakfast buffet actually costs money, but it's the exact same products and quality as every other holiday inn's free breakfast buffet. No one would spend $13 on cold boxed watery scrambled eggs. The Internet is so slow that I had to download my 1 page word document from one drive because it kept disconnecting and I couldn't edit it. That download also took over 20 minutes!Aside from that, the rooms are clean, the entrance is nice and grand, there is ample parking, the staff are super nice, and the location is convenient.”

“Great rooms, but don't expect your deposit back in a timely manner. It's been 2 weeks and I still haven't gotten mine back. I called and they said it was approved to be reimbursed but still nothing.Noteworthy details: Right next to bass pro shop.”

“Loved this resort....it is absolutely stunning and the staff is so attentive and professional...room was beautiful and bed was very comfortable...the casino is a boat beside the resort and there is a shuttle if you don't want to walk the 5 min. walk over there... excellent restaurants in the casino too...will definitely stay here again if in the area”

“This is a very unique hotel!! A few things really stood out for our stay here! For one thing, the volume on the t.v. stopped working a half hour into a NCAA Playoff game!! And it turned out we enjoyed the game just as much as if the volume worked! We actually provided our own play-by-play commentary and it was great fun! When we let the concierge know she told us that dis-connecting and re-connecting a cable in the back of the t.v. would remedy the problem. We decided that the quiet was just as pleasing so we didn't do any connecting/reconnecting. Another unique thing is that the door on the elevator does not open at the 2nd floor. We informed the concierge and she cheerfully informed us to travel to the 4th floor, and then travel back to the 2nd on the way down, and voila!! The door opened! That's simple enough but we eventually decided the stairs were even faster and being an especially nimble group, the stairs became our preferred method of ascending and descending floors at this hotel. Now those issues might make a more finickier, more litigious traveller take issue with the hotel, but not us. They endeared the Best Western to us. Kind of like a little personality quirk. This is also a nice and quiet hotel!! No noise from next door or from rooms above or below us. Even the nearby interstate was not audible from our room. I must say the room we had was nice and clean and the shower and toilet facilities were just right. The morning breakfast buffet was really good. The bananas were not over-ripe, the coffee was hot, and everyone loved their food and coffee. The orange juice did seem very watery but some people like a less sweet citrus product. The next time we travel to Peoria, this hotel will be seriously considered as a potential place to stay!!”

“Nice hotel. Even when you are a member and have your account set for certain things, no one ever follows that. Never been to a Marriott who has. Everything was fine during this stay. Hot tub jets did not work though.Rooms: You can tell it's a hotel with older bones but it's not bad.”

“Every time I stay at Stony Creek I always get a room with a hot tub in it. Mostly because of my girlfriend who is a big fan of them and I am a big fan of her's so I think that it works out well for both of us. But the rooms here have been great and we also love the chance to get away together and I don't know where else we would rather go. So I give them a 5 star rating for their room options and I would like to say thanks for letting us be able to just relax and enjoy our time together.Rooms: Every time I stay at Stony Creek I always get a room with a hot tub in it. “No issues here! Clean, comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Stayed during a bad ice storm and they did a great job of keeping salt on the lot and sidewalks. The rooms are older-styled, but still in great shape. I prefer the old style, so it’s no bother to me- it was very clean!Rooms: Older style, but very clean and in good condition.Nearby activities: Casinos and food, galore!Safety: No dangerWalkability: Walkable to the casinos, but not much else. On a busy road that is not pedestrian friendly.Food & drinks: Great breakfast!”
