I've gotten my haircut at Audrey's Family Hair Care by Jan a few times over the years and she always does wonderful work! I'm totally deaf now but Jan was great about communicating with me by tapping on my shoulder and using voice to text! Very affordable and professional service!Services: Hairstyling

I am the owner and want to explain what happened to Gloria's hair when she came in. She had 5 inches of medium brown roots and 7 inches of blonde ends and she said I want high lights but she showed me a picture of a woman with medium brown hair and I said oh you want a tint and she shot me down and saidI want high lights. So I mixed up thea colors to match her ends and the colors matched perfectlyBut she was upset about how it looked. I think she was mixed up about high lights and low lights. One of the WORST hair salons I have ever been to in my life. Don’t let the 5 star reviews/ 10+ years of service fool you. This little old lady needs to retire and get OUT of the cosmetology profession. I went in and asked for her to simply add brown highlights to my blonde hair to even out my roots (almost like a balayage) she said oh yes I can do that! So I try to show her an inspiration picture and she doesn’t even bother to look at the picture she just said “eh yeah I know” she completely ignored what I had asked for. She went ahead and did whatever she felt like doing and added blonde highlights to my brown roots, not only were they very blotchy, they were very brassy and I have one thick strip of blonde on my right side and no blonde strips on the left side due to her not parting my hair correctly. When I asked if she could tone them down she said “ugh it’s just cause your hair is wet it will match your ends when it’s dry” so I let her dry my hair. My hair was still very brassy so I explained to her that toner will tone down the brassiness and give more of a platinum blonde she proceeds to tell me that she doesn’t have toner and she doesn’t even know what toner is. How are you going to be in business for over 10 years but not only ignore what your clients ask for but also not have half the essentials you need to do hair. 100% do NOT recommend this place. Wouldn’t even recommend this place to my worst enemy. Thank you for ruining my vacation and my hair !Service: Hair coloring

Jan is the hair stylist there now. She is a sweet lady. I have gotten my hair cut 3 or 4 times by her and am happy with how it looks and lays; both, right after she is done, and 3 or 4 weeks later.Service: Haircut

I went in for a perm on Saturday 2/23/18 and it did not take it Took my natural curly hair to straight. I didn't want straight hair. I've tried to message them twice and called. I haven't heard back.
