Supermercado Monarca is a very large Mexican grocery store with a great, relaxed atmosphere. It is well-stocked with all the essentials, featuring a huge variety of produce, a plentiful meat market, and everything needed for the kitchen, including unique cuts. The attached in-house cafe and small dinner serve excellent, authentic Mexican food. The steak tortas, tacos, carnitas, and horchata are amazing and delicious. The pastry case holds fresh Mexican cakes and tasty goodness. The staff is friendly, making it a great spot to shop and eat.
Very large store to shop. Lots of produce, meat market plentiful, and tortillas for days. Didn't try the restaurant, got carnitas to go instead which were delicious. Also the pastry case with tasty goodness, gotta get a treat!

Good selection of pan dulce. They have good tamales and enchiladas by the register on weekends!

While visiting Davenport IA I found a Mexican grocery store and bought my masa because Rolla Mo doesn't have any Latino stores. They have everything that I need.
