I came out here a couple of years ago to have a recall taken care of. The service department did a great job, hence why I came back when shopping for a car. Strangely even with extremely exceptional credit, I was repeatedly offered terms 3 to 4% more than other dealers, even from the same lenders. I ended up checking a couple of times. Also had some friends shop as well. We had similar results with the highest being 5% different. This can mean thousands more for the same car. I suggest having your financial items in order and know going rate for your model, trim and options. It seems shady but apparently very legal and profitable.

Drove 5 hours each way to get my truck from Kunes Ford. Worth every minute. From negotiating the price to getting a great deal on, an extended warranty I could not have asked for a better group of people. I had been searching for a while for a specific truck and they had it. The other dealers I had dealt with all were bait and switching the price. They tell you one price and then they tell you all the add-ons that the claim they have added. Always jacking up the price anywhere from 3k to 5k. However here I got nothing but honesty and straight dealing. No adding things on unless I had requested it. They truly wanted to get me in the truck I wanted for a great deal.
I want to say thank you to Brandon Martinez (Sales), Travis Marner (Sales Manager) and Dan Yanes (Finance). Thank you to all three of you for restoring my faith that an honest deal can be made in the car business.
They were up front about the condition, everything they promised was accurate, and they stood by their word.

Kunes Ford of East Moline was absolutely the best vehicle buying experience I have had to date. I was told I had a warranty on my transmission as long as I did my routine maintenance through them, however last time I came in for an oil change I asked to get it looked at because it was skipping/ jumping occasionally when shifting from one gear to the next and the rep told me that I am only covered for up to $5000.00 for the transmission and that would not even cover the price of a transmission issue which is upwards of $10,000.00 and since I had that coverage with Kunes I was not able to use the very expensive extended warranty I purchased. Feel like I was taken advantage of with the purchase of this van. Have only ever purchased all of our cars though Reynolds for the last 30 years and this was the first van I purchased under Kunes and it is struggle to feel good about this purchase. Actually had my first 6 oil changes covered under to warranty plan I purchased However was charged for my very first one. ? still have not been able to get my transmission looked at due to the rep I asked it about the first time was very dismissive with me about it and actually refused to make an appointment to have my van looked at because the dash light where not working. Told me I would have to take it somewhere else so here I still sit with a van that skips gears and actually had a private mechanic that I paid out-of-pocket to fix my dash light issue

Viewed and liked a 2024 Mustang GT Premium online, so I went to see it the next day after scheduling an appointment. I test drove it, liked it, and bought it. The process was very quick and smooth with both the sales and finance guys. My salesman, Jeff, was very knowledgeable and outgoing! I will certainly be back for my next car purchase in the future.
