I have 2 different loans through here. First of all, for having nearly perfect credit, the interest rate is INSANE. Like, the interest payment alone is 3x my monthly mortgage payment. In addition, they mail my statements late every single month, but when I pay them a few days late, it’s a problem. They just changed their systems and now I’m having trouble paying my bills. It’s super frustrating and I’m probably never going to get another loan here.

Very upset with the poor customer service that I was served today. After a week of calling the so called customer service support ? I finally went in to talk to someone about disputing charges that he said would be my fault and unable to dispute them. Then another woman starts telling me to call the number to do so and I said that there is never anyone to talk to. Just upset with no one helping & the unwanted attitude from the workers in this bank.

Requested copies of auto loan documents to get registration updated and was not able to use what they sent due to the bame being cut off. I went to the drivethru at 8:30 to get a new copy.. they seemed irritated I was asking and told me I had to wait until 9 for the lobby to open. Not the first time I've had poor experience with IHMVCU.

I don't normally use the branch itself as I live about an hour away, but I've had to call over the phone and it usually doesn't take long for anyone to reply. I've had 3 car loans through them and every time they have always given me a great interest rate and payment within my budget. The website is easy to use for payments and contact info if I have any questions about my loan.

I got an overpriced car loan to rebuild credit, fine. I always planned to pay it off in a year. I had a warranty that didn't work any time I took my car in and it was 2k added to my already overpriced loan. It doesn't work once paid off and I would get a credit back for the miles covered but not driven. I rebuild my credit, move cross country, and Covid-19 hit. In my state covid shut down in person activities almost entirely. I called the county and they couldn't tell me anybody who could notarize my cancellation. I was in contact with IH on and off during this period as it was my last payment, but again I had already paid for it in this unused warranty. Every single time I called or talked to somebody nobody knew what I had called about before, or hadn't checked and just said they'd pass it along. I started getting uninformed collection attempts from this location. When my state finally reopens and I start driving on the way to cancel this thing. I call Route66 directly to confirm the cancellation instructions.... IH DOES THEM OVER THE PHONE. IT TOOK UNDER 2 MINUTES. I DIDNT EVEN HAVE TO SEND ANYTHING IN. But NOBODY could tell me that, inform me of it, or really even know about it when I called to cancel it directly. It took another day and for it to fumble through the loan department for this to be done. If these people aren't loan qualified they shouldn't be selling them or making collection notices. Maybe if I had stayed in town forever it might have went okay but this was a miserable experience. Not only was I collecting more interest during that time, I put on more miles, I lost more refund. I should have just paid cash.

I have been with IHMVCU for almost 20yrs. I have learned so much from their financial advisers. They helped me build my credit. I appreciate the lack of fees most big banks charge. IH is awesome!!
