“I'm so disappointed in this Motel I've been coming here for years several times a year. I've never had an issue till recently apparently the manager owner whoever he was thought that I hadn't paid my room bill which I always do always have. Besides the fact they have my deposit. Got up one morning left for a little bit and came back to find the staff going through my personal belongings in my room packing my things up as they said they were ordered to do by the same gentleman that I had seen repeatedly and spoken with the day before who seem to have no issue at that time. What he did was wrong and I'm pretty sure illegal. I don't blame the staff for this I blame the gentleman that was working that Sunday this happened on a Monday morning but he had seen me like I said repeatedly Sunday and if you had an issue with me why didn't he say something then instead of catching me gone for a little while the next morning and telling the staff to take my belongings. I was horrified by this. Never received an apology for his mistake once again he had my deposit if he thought I owe them money he had my deposit he lied when he told his staff that I had left and had not returned he seen me and spoke with me he knew I was there. The staff tried to tell this man that they knew me I stay there all the time I'm just shocked this happened. I sure would like to get an apology but I don't guess I probably willget one. If this happens somewhere again I'm going to call the police I don't blame the staff at all for what they did I blame the manager owner whoever he was for his incompetence. Ive always loved this motel this is the only issue I recall but my what a big one.”

“Best place to spend New Years! An amazing local experience with a since of out of the abroad feel because it is simply nice. Hallway s are monotone blended then you walk in to the most spacious late modern feels like home...”

“Due to the fact that we stay in hotels more than our own home, I think my opinion matters. First of all, the staff there are amazing! Maddie, Aarti and Aman are so pleasant and helpful. Even during chaotic check ins with a lot of people at once, there is always a smile. The rooms are normal, nothing fancy, but they are clean! The restaurant/bar food is great along with my favorite bar tender, Tony! He is perfect at his job, which is a hard one. The only flaw there has been the AC. It’s an old system and tends to not be able to keep up in the summer sometimes.Food & drinks: Great food!”

“My husband and I are on a 60-day road trip across the US. This was our last night in a hotel before heading back home and what a wonderful experience it was! We have stayed in many hotels in the last 2 months and over the last 4 years since we’ve retired, and this place was a GEM! It has a very high energy kind of vibe when you walk in; we arrived on a Friday night and there was lots going on. Everything looked new, modern and had an industrial feel to it. Our room (#410) was tucked back down a hall way and very private. We loved the light fixtures, concrete floors and brick walls in the hall. Our room was super cool, even had filtered water, nice dishes and silverware and beautiful linens. No idea if our travels will ever take us back to Moline but we definitely would stay at the Element again!! A cooked omelet with fresh veggies awaited us the following morning. So refreshing to have a healthy, low-carb, high protein breakfast!”

“I loved staying at such a clean, no frills hotel! Everything is brand new and in top condition!I would stay here in a heartbeat again! Such a great experience & if I could give extra stars for cleanliness, I would! Nothing makes me happier than a super clean place to stay!If I had stayed longer, I would have wanted pans included, but they did have them for sale in the lobby for guests to purchase. I could have used a slightly softer bed, but my husband and sons were thrilled with the beds and pillows. Thank you for a wonderful experience!Rooms: Spacious enough for what we needed. Well laid out and includes a kitchen and full bathroom!Nearby activities: We are breakfast at LINKS just down the street. It was delicious and the staff was so friendly! 10/10Noteworthy details: Seriously, the cleanest place I have ever stayed other than my own house. I always wear shoes in hotels because I hate the dirty carpets… but in MyPlace, I walked barefoot & felt totally comfortable! It is amazing!”

“Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast stay very helpful and friendly. Beds very comfy, double room a little crowded, needed to move bed to walk by to get to bathroom. Only 4 stars for to cleanliness. Carpets not vacuumed and dust on items on room. Looks like some remodeling occurred but not thoroughly cleaned. I would stay here again.Food & drinks: Great breakfast”

“The catering has the worse food and may ruin your event. While the environment and staff are excellent, the required use of their catering service is reason to seek another venue. I don't recommend holding an event at this location if they continue to mandate the use of their catering service. Also parking is inadequate for this size hotel and the location.”

“My new favorite hotel in this area. I travel the Midwest extensively for work; this is easily my favorite place to stay. The rooms are large, comfortable, and well-appointed. But it's the small things that really set this place above. There are train tracks nearby, so I find ear plugs waiting for me on the bedside table. Real glass tumblers and ceramic coffee mugs in the room instead of paper cups. Bathrobe and slippers waiting in the armoire. Large bathroom and shower with heavy towels. Lots of windows. Great pillows on the bed. All-in-all a very comfortable place to spend the night.Rooms: Larger than average hotel rooms with nice sitting areas and large bathroom & shower.Walkability: For being a downtown hotel, parking is easy if you park in the free garage behind the hotel. There's a covered walkway connecting the garage to the hotel (second floor of each). If you park here, the hotel is easy to access.”

“Had a great time at this casino yesterday! I left about $400 ahead, and enjoyed sitting down for a meal at their buffet before leaving for the day.My only complaint was the patron who, upon seeing that I wasn’t using a card, wouldn’t stop pestering me about playing on his. I didn’t, and eventually just moved to another machine. Not exactly something I can hold against the casino itself, but still very annoying!”

“We had the best time! The rooms are clean and inviting, the staff was great! The restaurant was good and a nice little spa! We are not experienced gamblers and the staff in the casino was very helpful. Yeah it is not Las Vegas, but it is not meant to be Vegas. Was great for a quick trip!We will definitely be visiting this hidden gem in the future!”

“I tried this place out after having a horrible experience with extremely filthy room at the AmericInn a couple blocks over and have been staying here since when I am in town a couple times a year and the rooms are always clean, amenities are always working and the service has been wonderful. The prices are extremely reasonable, as well. I recommend 100%!Rooms: Have always been clean. Room phones never seem to work but then again I've only tried the phone once in one room.”

“Very nice hotel for the price. The rooms are very nice. The property was recently renovated and looks beautiful. The pool area is very nice. There were too many kids for us to think about going to the pool. We knew beforehand that the hot tub wasn't open yet. Breakfast was average. Again, there were too many kids, and they were constantly filling their plates, so we had a hard time getting food at 9 a.m. We will stay here again when we visit the area. Good value for the money.”

“No microwave in my room was upsetting. Room 107 needed a new television. Front desk staff was more than accommodating when offering additional toiletries. Mississippi River location was ideal.”

“My room was so clean. Tammy did such a great job!!!! Too bad the management sucked. Just glad Tammy found a more desirable hotel to work at, this hotel didn't deserve her. This rating is strictly for the customer service I received from the housekeepers.”

“Pictures are very confusing. Originally outside rooms with parking. They added an outside hallway and wall. Motel only has 3 or 4 entrances. Decent Motel though and welcoming staffSafety: Safer looking area Than some reviews suggested. There on a Friday night and still pretty quiet”

“Great hotel. Super clean. Great staff. Nice continental breakfast. Newly renovated, very comfy bed, overall a great stay. We booked it last minute and it was the cheapest option available so I was a little nervous and skeptical. We’re very glad we found it! A great bang for your buck! Definitely will be back when we’re in the area. Very fast WiFi as well.Rooms: Very clean and comfy beds. Clean carpet and bathroom.Safety: All doors are locked 24/7.Food & drinks: Great continental breakfastNoteworthy details: Definitely will stay here again soon. All the staff were very friendly.”

“Nice looking building from outside & lobby.? Once we got into our room, not very good! Out dated & filthy furniture!? The carpet was shredded along the seams? The bathroom faucet for hot water was broken!? The restaurant & bar attached to the hotel was excellent!? Good food & great drinks!?”

“I was impressed as soon as I pulled in the parking lot and I saw the very nice patio. The lobby and dining area was spacious and clean. Then when I got to my room it was very clean and stocked with plenty of clean towels. This is by far the best motel I have stayed in. This will without doubt my go to place when I’m in the Quad City Area!!”

“We reserved a beautiful King Suite. The halls were really hot in 1 spot then freezing cold in the next.We were all set it the room & getting ready to use the whirlpool in the room so wanted the TV on; remote didn't work, no batteries so frondesk decided to bring 2 others to try but they didn't work, their bright idea is to move us to a small cramped suite. How about putting batteries in the remote? The restaurant was amazing, great bartender & waitstaff. Food was great as well as the drinks.Morning breakfast was just ok. The waffle timer wasn't working. The eggs were dry. The sausage was bland. OJ had to much pulp.Rooms: The king suites are not all alike, 1 would be a beautiful big room that you could relax & watch TV from the sofa then the next is so small that you run into the dresser when you get out of bed to use the bathroom. There was no way to watch TV from the sofa in the small room.Food & drinks: Great food at the restaurant. The bartender knows what he is doing. The waitstaff is friendly as well as knowledgeable about the food.Breakfast could use some help, I know it was included in the room price but.....”

“In that time it was a great stay. Everything ran smoothly. The room was more than adequate and spacious for 5 people. It is very close to interstate easy to get in and out. Just a friendly and allowed us to have a late check-out.”

“Safe, quiet, convenient location near other commerce.Room was perfect. Nothing to complain about.Breakfast was above averageWe always request a no pet room and area so we usually are given an upper level but the elevator worked well.”

“ProsQuiet convenient reasonableAC unit worked welltwo refrigeratorsvery helpful and friendly desk staffreal half and half at the coffee station Ham on the buffetnice wafflesWe felt safe.Hydrangea plants outdoors were gorgeous! We did not take advantage of it but it appeared that there was a park nearby.ConsThe room that we booked smelled smoky, despite it being a non-smoking inn. The good news is that the front desk staff did not question, and quickly and efficiently found a second room which smelled fresh and clean. The surroundings could use some scrubbing and updating. Carpet and halls were stained, and there were areas of unraveling your thresholds. Chairs were worn in the breakfast area. The coffee machine was not so tasty. Healthy options are limited. Eggs tasted sort of different, like maybe from powder? Healthy options limited, they did have yogurt, some fruitRooms: CleanThe security lock was brokenSafety: Felt safe in parking lot at night”
