I will rate it 0 no maintenance showed up for moths even for my refrigerator and toilet. They are charging extra for every maintenance work still never showed up on time. I am back home and saw my refrigerator is not fixed my toilet is not fixed. Even I call from there and they send me email that they fix it. When I came back my all groceries are still frozen. And top of that someone broke it. I am so mad.

Basically I applied online for this complex and I was applying for one bedroom which it wasn't clearly stated on like all the fees and you know information that would be needed up on applying I quickly called the office to have the application turn down because I didn't no longer need it because I found a different place to basically rent from none of my background was ran none of my credit was ran so I feel like they should have given the full amount back that was paid out which was $138 basically $139 so when I called back I was able to leave a message but no one called me back until several hours later where then they told me that they ran my information but I don't believe that my information was ran because nothing was on my credit report it's bad business if companies still your money and they don't actually provide a service for you when they're taking your money I just feel that's totally wrong ?

? We like it here ?We met with Bobbie, who my daughter calls her new bestie, and decided to move here from Chicago. We’ve been here since Feb 2024.It’s lively in the day and quiet at night; kids playing and families going/coming from work, but after work I can relax on the balcony peacefully. It doesn’t feel like you need to tip-toe around neighbors or like they’ll impede in on your privacy, either.You can see community living here. Kids visiting friends; neighbors talking/greeting one another.Stores/Shopping are a short drive away, too. Medical center is about two miles away; hospital 15 minute drive. The mall is about a ten minute drive and Davenport (Iowa) mall/theater are about a 20 minute drive.Johnny, the maintenance guy, is pretty cool, too. ?? He’s been pretty responsive and not to mention a pretty cool guide when it comes to learning about the area.Lindsay has been great, too. She’s been consistent in what she says she’ll do and has been professional in her approach.The experience has been a good one and I’m glad we decided to move here. ?

I am from Joliet, IL and had moved to Florida in 2021 thinking rent would be better and apartments would look more up to date. But lord knows I was wrong. So January of 2024 I decided to get my family out of Florida and move back up north. I came across Crowne Forest apartments and instantly applied. A week after applying I took that 16 hour drive to see Ms. Bobbie and the apartment complex. I couldn’t believe how clean and quiet it was. But I instantly fell in love with the space and privacy. I ended up Moving in February 2, 2024 and my daughters and I love our new home. The staff is absolutely fantastic and the cleanliness and rent prices is absolutely incredible. 10/10 for Crowne Forest!

I have been living here for a year. The new management has been amazing.Maintenance, as I am a disabled person are able to help me in an instant.I love the new crew that here, they are tremendous. I would recommend living here to anyone.

**UPDATE** I would rate 0 if it allowed me to!!!!!!!Still nothing has been addressed or fixed. So I decided to stop paying the $100 late fee for paying my rent 5days past the due date. Trying to get them to realize I'm upset since they still don't return my emails or work orders regarding the maintenance work needing done. But super quick to reach out regarding their money. So they told me they don't accept partial payments on rent and I need to pay the $100. I said I gladly will when johnny comes to complete my work orders pending since MAY 2023. They have all my rent money minus their late fees for the last 3 months. Which I thought was fair right?Nope! Not for crowne forest apartments.....Management decided it would be easier to try and evict me for not paying their $300 in late fees instead of having johnny simply come and fix what should have been fixed a long time ago. This apartment complex is a JOKE!!!I currently live here and since day 1 I have been fighting to have things fixed. It was not move in ready if there is a list of things to be completed. I email the manager of crowne forest almost everyday and Lindsay just does not respond anymore. BUT quick to reach out if I'm a day late with rent and to let me know the extra 100 late fee and 1000 fee of lawyers have to get involved after 10 days of late rent. This place is a joke. I would not recommend to anyone. They have 1 maintenance guy and that is always the excuse to why nothing gets done. "There's only 1 johnny" in Lindsay's words.Update as of today still nothing fixed still no response from Lindsay nothing has changed. This is a terrible place to live. They don't fix anything!!!!I have someone in the apartment when Johnny "says" he stopped by. Funny how the notices that he stopped by come after the days he stopped by apparently. Nothing has been fixed in a timely manner. For the first 3 months I told him he could come in without anyone in the apartment but did he.... NO! This is funny how you will only respond through a bad review rather than answering me through my emails. I expect to hear from you via email or phone tomorrow or Friday to discuss this further because nothing has been fixed or done in a timely manner.UPDATE***still nothing fixed. Johnny doesn't even come the apartment to fix anything but tells his boss he does. Lindsay and bobbie quick to want their money but still don't care about their tenants and their rights. This apartment complex has been the worst place I have ever lived. Definitely looking for a new place to live. Don't recommend this complex to anyone. They just want to over charge you for living in a dump then blame this for their stuff breaking.

Rating this 1 star because I was driving through the parking lot and there so much snow still they don’t keep up on plowing through out the day or just don’t plow it. Cars back ends sliding out because there’s to much snow to have a flatter surface to drive on.Even me driving at 5 miles per hour slower than ever, my car kept trying to get through the snow and every time it would go into somebody else’s tire marks the end of my car would slide out.Crown Forest Hire somebody to come and plow your parking area regularly and salt it. Before somebody gets hurt, or hits other vehicles due to your negligence of plowing it. Do better.

I currently live here and do not recommend to anyone. I have only been here since April and have had MULTIPLE problems with my apartment. My AC has been broken since July and has not gotten fixed, everytime i stop by to talk to the property manager Lindsay is an excuse, she stopped responding to my emails and calls and fails to have the air conditioner fixed, i I went the hottest days of summer with no AC have asked to speak to people above her and there’s never an answer. Find somewhere else to live.

August 23, No air-conditioning in work-out room.August 23, Pool closed again.Under new and very good management. Maintenance is good they just need more help. I would refer a friend. I have been through 3 sets of Managment and 3 different maintenance men. The problems here seem to be a LACK OF FUNDING from corporate, and it is a HUGE corporation. The big projects, like a new window or door don't get done because of work orders not being approved. The maintenance man here has the responsibilities of at least 3 people. He does the move in and move outs (120 apts) all emergencies, so general upkeep gets put to the side, he is also responsible for the swimming pool which has been closed more than open. The workout room, which I love, has 5 exercise machines. Three of them don't work at all and the 2 treadmills work partially. Those are the big things that aren't getting done. The residents here are very friendly and I have never had a problem nor seen any violence of any kind. I feel safe here.

Delivered a Door Dash order here and was scared out of my mind to get out of my car. I was absolutely appalled at the amount of people that were sitting outside with their doors open, weed smoking outside, music full blast coming from inside apartments, kids running in the streets with no adults and these were toddlers running in the streets. Dogs running all over loose. Passed 3 huge dumpsters over flowing with garbage onto the ground. What is this place??? I can't imagine humans living in this dump space of apartments.

I moved in June 2022, on Christmas I saw my first mouse which ruined my whole Christmas I packed me and my kids up and stayed with a friend because we all are terrified of mice, all the office did was give me a sticky trap, once that caught the mouse we went back home, but that wasn’t even the end of it on multiple occasions I started to see another one, maintenance never came and blocked off where it looked like they were coming from behind the washer like the office said they would, than pest control never came, they never gave me sticky traps I had to handle it myself, my main bathroom connected to the main bedroom has never worked since I moved in, maintenance doesn’t do a good job at all. When you try to reach the office they never contact you back, they tried to charge me for a garage for 4 months that I did not have, than once they couldn’t charge me for that, they tried to charge me with a pet fee when the pet only came for a couple of hours when I pet sit, now that it’s time for my lease to be up they said they can terminate me the day my least is up because I don’t want to pay for two extra months after my lease is over. But why would I want to stay after my lease is up if I’ve been waiting for my lease to end

This place is filthy. They don't keep up with the maintenance and the place is infested with mice. They only provided some mouse traps that did not make a difference, and never helped to look for another way to resolve the issues I was having. They don't care. I decided to not renew the lease and they tried to look for any reason they could come up with to charge me with all types of fees & "violations" as my lease was coming to an end. They didn't even give any prior notice or bring these things to my attention beforehand. Highly DO NOT recommend. Save your time & money!

let me preface w/i hate leaving bad reviews. I signed a lease with Crowne Forest back in 2021, fulfilled the full terms of my lease. notified them I’d be moving out at the end. They then tried to say i owed them $2100 for not giving them proper notice of leaving. however, every single time i attempted to stop by their office & call their phone, no one would answer or was in office. My new landlord couldn’t even get ahold of them for references. Now they want me to pay $1,527 for their error. After they said they would contact me about me getting my security deposit back. Honestly, avoid the headache of moving into their mold filled apartments.

No bugs or mice I was comfortable. ❤️ They got better people in the office now who care, I grew and had peace here for the most part. I moved today and I hope to find a apartment like this outta town
