I adopted my cat, Captain Monocle, Monny for short, 7 and half years ago. He got into a fight with another animal. He wound up at CACC where they fixed him up and a rescue snatched him up. It was love at first sight. Monny was by my side every second I was home. He was a super chill guy who was leader of the pack in our home. It was his castle and he was the king and everyone knew it.
Monny had complications after a surgery he had at another facility. I ended up bringing him here a couple of times and we were seen by Dr. Kindra. She was an absolute angel. So very compassionate and helpful. She helped Monny cross the rainbow bridge. Thank you so much for your sincere empathy and support in honestly one of the hardest times of my life. Thank you to all the staff as well. I will never forget you all. ❤️

Have taken my cat to Dundee Animal Hospital twice, once in East Dundee once in Elgin, and have been very happy both times. Brought her in tonight (Saturday night) without an appointment and she was seen right away. We were there exactly an hour - they solved the problem (she had a piece of grass stuck in her throat). Dr. Kindra and Megan were both friendly, accommodating, and didn’t get flustered when my cat was stressed and growling - they did a great job. Plus, I got to take home some free dog treats and a bandana for my dog waiting at home. Taking a pet to the ER is never pleasant but these Dundee has been the best experiences we’ve had.

My Beautiful, 16 year old, Boston Terrier, Bella suddenly went into a seizure on Saturday night August 3rd and we took her to Dundee Animal Hospital. This was the 3rd time we had been here. The first time was February 2023, with my Boston William and then again in December right before Christmas with our cat Fred. Each time it was in the evening and each time I was met with care and compassion. William got into chicken wing bones as a baby while in someones care and I rushed home at 2 am in a snow storm from the city to find he needed his stomach emptied of almost a dozen bones. With Fred and Bella it was with delivering devastating news to our family. In December we decided to wait a few days to say goodbye to Fred after finding out he had lymphoma and an intestinal tumor but this time with Bella we didn't have that option. She was in a seizure that was not stopping. We knew it was time to say goodbye and the wonderful doctor was warm and compassionate as he helped us come to terms with what we already knew was the right thing to do. He helped us with Fred and again with Bella and unfortunately I don't remember his name but he is awesome. 16 wonderful years with the most amazing dog. It was hard. Very hard. When I picked her up a couple weeks later after having her cremated, I was worried about the container I was going to recieve as I did not have a choice. My other pets I had been given a choice except Fred and I had been unhappy with his container but that was a different facility. To say that they picked the most beautiful box for my girl is an understatement. She was a mom to 5 liters of planned puppies that made many families happy. This tree of life fit her perfectly. It made me cry all over again. And we received ink prints of her paw and nose. More crying. The thought and care that went into providing me with these items to remember my beautiful girl I will appreciate for the rest of my life. I would recommend this facility to anyone that needs emergency vet care.

Brought a stray kitten in. Dr. Holtz said everything was fine and it was healthy. With in 8 hours it passed.

Amazing animal hospital! Went in last night with my fiancé took very well care for our little one. ?
The receptionist Berenice was so helpful in to getting us in & super welcoming. The technician Madeline was so great with our little Canelo took very well care of him listened to all of our concerns. Dr. was awesome & helped us out on all the medication we needed in order for our little one to feel better! Explained everything to us so well! First time coming here we drove 45 mins away! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
