I was with Next Door Storage for a short time only because I found a place quickly and moved in. I rated all 5 stars because I feel with my experience that I was treated with respect,helped,supported, all of my questions was answered without me feeling that I was asking dumb questions,greeted everytime I walked in no matter how many times I was there. My experience never changed in-person or over the phone and they were all the same even after I left and called for a few more questions. I am so happy that my mother referred me and she has been here over 11 years and currently there still. THANK YOU NEXT DOOR STORAGE!!!!

The place is hard to find, my husband & I spent 2 hours driving around Dunlap. When we found the place we realized it was on the edge of Peoria, hence the heightened security measures. The "Free" moving truck advertised is not free nor provided on site. You are responsible for locating & reserving the truck, as well as returning it. You pay full cost of truck rental up front. the "free" part is the Self Storage management reimbursing you for up to $25 of the cost, which they apply to your unit rental fee the following month.

I had a positive experience signing up for rental space. The lady was super nice. Only had to pay $1 for one and half months of first renting because of specials. I liked that!

Well it’s so unfortunate to have the experience I have had at this storage company. I’ve been a customer with multiple units for 5 years and it means nothing to them. Every year they raise my prices and with that compounding over the years one can’t even afford to stay at the location. The folks behind the desk are very nice but they are not empowered to help you in any way. My credit card expired while on automatic payment and I just went into the office to revise it and was charged $20 per unit late fees with no consideration for how long I’ve been a customer. Don’t waste your time at this one plenty of other companies in town who will treat you far better.

This place is awful, kept raising the rent never got a notice for the rent it was raised. My unit was full of mice at some point the air conditioning wasn’t on in the climate control because things melted in my storage unit when I first rented that place the lady told me it was a fixed rate three months later they raced it, I would beware of renting here no downspouts are each office above the door when you’re moving in and out you get rained on if it’s raining, no ice melt down in front of the doors almost fell just a terrible place to rent from

The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful in determining the size of storage you'll need. The Dunlap site has easy access. Units and grounds are clean and secure. I'm very happy with my decision to go with Next Door Storage.

Nice facility. We'll maintained but the rent price is far too high. Also, had large increase in monthly rent cost after just a few months of me moving in. There are many similar facilities nearby with rent less than half the price. I would like to recommend but only if the rent goes way down. Another thing that bothered me was when I was locked-out when my rent was only a few days after the Due date for the first time ever. I could see if you were a month behind but not days.

My rate has gone from $95 to $135 in 2 1/2 years. I would not recommend.
