Fantastic. Very nice group of people....The animals are so healthy looking. I have adopted Jenga. She's getting her spay and then comes home next week. So many good animals waiting on a forever home. These dogs n cats are some of the healthiest weights I've ever seen. I would recommend taking a visit here Sat or Sunday 2_4 pm or call for an appointment

I had the best experience adopting my sweet kitten Sapphire. I want to give a special thanks to Dawn and Rachael. Rachael was very prompt returning my emails and keeping me updated every step of the way prior to the adoption. Dawn was so kind and informative when returning my call regarding the adoption status as well. I have never been too a shelter where the animals are so loved and well taken care of. Dawn was so welcoming and professional when we arrived. And im so grateful that we adopted from Perry County Humane Society. Keep up the good work ladies!

I volunteered there!! What a nice bunch of people!! Clean charming office. Kennels clean and dogs and cats are treated well. Cat house was awesome!! So much fun.

Adopted from them years ago (>10) and I still donate to them because they treated my Maisy so well. Highly recommend adopting from them.

I applied for an animal and was rejected because I live ten miles over their 100 mile radius rule. In other words, they refused to give an animal to a good home for a ridiculous reason. However, they were kind to me throughout the process.

Great experience adopting our dog. Took about a week to get back to me on my application which is not long. They we're very accommodating when we brought our dog up to meet our potential adoption dog. They had a very big play area so they could meet and greet. They even brought us water because it was such a hot day. Once we decided that we wanted to adopt, the rest of the process was completely painless. Filled out some paperwork and we were on our way with our new buddy.

Our dog got loose on the lake roads and was transferred to this place and they REFUSED to give him back to his loving owners. Even though we had all the paper work to prove he was ours AND he was up to date on his shots.They wouldn't answer our calls or give us answers. They waited 7 DAYS to.call us back when we were leaving voicemails daily. They waited out their "hold" period to.legally call him theirs. They STOLE our dog and now he's gone.If I knew how and where to go I'd report these people.The point is to bring these animals to a loving home and all they did was take him awayHow were we to know he would get from GOREVILLE TO DUQUION. They want to call it neglect I call it a misunderstanding.when even the dog catcher apologized to us over this and even our VET said that he was our property.
