I had the best experience at Steinhafels! We just moved here from Maryland and needed a sofa for living room. Tim Deignan was awesome! He was professional and helped me not only select the perfect sofa but also a rug and fabric for a custom made ottoman. Tim never rushed me and took the time to move things around so I could get the feel and look of the selections! I would definitely recommend Steinhafels and will seek out Tim for additional purchases! Thank you Tim!

Stay away from this furniture store. Low quality furniture at high prices they won’t stand behind. Had couch and love seat a year and fabric completely coming apart. Furniture looks like it 10 years old. Purchased their VIP extended warranty attempted 3 times to get repaired each time they have denied us with different reasons. When we purchased the warranty they said we could get refund on warranty if we wanted. Asked for refund was denied that as well because we filed a claim. Didn’t matter that they denied claim fact that we made a claim counted as using warranty. Even though no repairs were made.
What terrible customer service from a company expanding to Chicago land area. Only a matter of time before the going out of business signs start going up.

Horrible service! The wrong bed order was put in be Sales Associate at the Downers Grove loc a tin in IL, now I cannot get a call back from Sales Rep Roger Douchand or any manger at the facility. I have called their customer service line over 5 days and all they have told me was that a manager will call me back. I am stuck with pieces of the furniture I ordered. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER CARE.

Mo worked in a caring way to help us find a sectional sofa. We love our new cream colored leather sectional in our home now. He also was very patient making sure it fit the space. His knowledge of furniture was great and he has great taste if you want to pick something out to bring home with a budget and time frame in mind.

Disappointed with Quality Control – Would Not Recommend
I recently purchased a power reclining sofa set from Steinhafels, which included a dual-seater and a single-seater recliner. Visually, the furniture looked great, which was a big reason why we bought it. However, my experience quickly soured after delivery.
When the truck arrived, I noticed that the pieces were already assembled. This seemed convenient at first, but once they were moved into my home and powered on, the dual-seater recliner didn’t work at all—it wouldn't move. The delivery drivers attempted to troubleshoot the issue by rewiring and reconnecting it, but nothing worked.
My frustration stems from the fact that these sofas were fully assembled before being loaded onto the truck. It makes no sense why a simple check wasn’t done to ensure everything was functioning before delivery. If the sofa had been assembled on-site, maybe I could understand how an issue like this could be missed, but under the circumstances, it seems like a careless oversight.
At this point, I would rather pay the 15% restocking fee than deal with this hassle. Based on my experience, I would advise others to reconsider purchasing from this store or brand. Quality control and customer satisfaction should be a priority, and unfortunately, Steinhafels fell short.

The three guys that delivered my mattress were very nice and personable. I saw a Steinhafels truck today that said the store is employee owned. I hope the delivery guys are employees of your company and not just contractors, and that they are benefiting as part owners.

Khan was great to work with. Although our need was minor, he showed us several options and did not pressure us to purchase the most expensive. He informed us of different service available for future needs. Great working with him!

Loads of beautiful furniture and accessories. We purchased a leather couch. Our salesperson was very nice and helpful, however, I would have given 5 stars for sure, but we were unhappy with the fact that we weren’t ASKED or EVEN EXPLAINED about the additional furniture protection warranty. The salesperson automatically added it onto our bill without mentioning a word to us. That can be seen as shady. That was an additional $375. Not happy with that type of customer service. This purchase is for a second home that we don’t frequent often so we would probably not have gotten the extra warranty.
