We've been dealing with Sparomobile since the 70s and have always had a great experience. Jimmy and his family built the place from scratch and Mike is carrying on the tradition of excellent service. If they don't have what you need in stock they will get it ASAP. Competitive prices are part of the deal. Highly recommended!

I have been using this place randomly for a a solid 10 years and they have yet to give me bad service. I am hard person to please and these people are good at what they do. Their prices are fair, availability on parts are good, willing to answer questions(with VALID answers) and polite. Family owned businesses seem to be the way to go, when it comes to competence. I hope others appreciate you guys.

I was recently here for a radiator hose. The shop has this "service" they do where if they don't have the part in, someone leaves the shop and drives to their "warehouse" to pick it up. The older lady there charged my card just under $60 for the part (they didn't used to charge until the part comes in). No hello or smile. Just "Insert your card. Sign." Mike told me his dad was going to get the part and it could be 1 1/2 hours until he got back because of traffic.(?) I left and was by my car in the lot and made a quick call to O'Reillys down the street who had the same part for $31. Half the cost. (I had checked a different O'Reillys before coming to this place who didn't have it; another had it). I went back in and asked Mike if I could get a refund since I found a better price. He said sorry and that his dad already left. I didn't see any cars leave the lot and I was right outside. Even if he did, he would have been gone maybe 2-3 minutes. So no refund. (!) I ended up running an errand which took too long for me to come back to the shop before it closed; after thinking a bit I wasn't in such a hurry to go back either. The next day I called the shop to get a refund on my card. Mike was very friendly but as soon as I asked for my money back, he went ice cold. He said "oh I just figured when you didn't show up this morning you had gone to O'Reillys since they had it for 31 bucks and went and got your car fixed." I told him I hadn't and he said "So you're going back to Atlanta with a bad radiator hose huh?" implying I had gotten it fixed. Fixed or not, if I want to purchase the same item from a different store for less (half in this case), I get chewed out by the store that is trying to charge more? He made me hold for a few minutes and came back and said "number." I said "credit card number?" 5 second pause.. "Yup." I've talked to Mike before; seemed friendly enough but I didn't know him nearly enough to get a guilt trip from him.. Much less for an item marked up nearly 100%. Which was probably marked up based on him knowing I was leaving the state the next day, and used his dad (presumably to make it uncomfortable for me to return the item) along with their "courier" gimmick. The part was probably in the store the whole time. Even if there is a "warehouse", it is nearly an hour away and someone drives there for 1 part? No way. I've met the owners and they seem like they would promote using a gimmick like that if they could. I had this nearly happen once before with a blower motor which I found was marked up 100%. I was asked by the same lady for an explanation as to why I didn't pick it up. (!) Unfortunately, I have actually purchased a few things from here which I now regret. One of the owners once said they use lubromoly additives in all of their shop cars when I was buying a lubromoly gas additive once. Don't believe it. Much less the gimmick with the family member driving 1 1/2 hours just for you. (Ha!!) Horrible customer service, insanely high prices, and pricing gimmicks. How is this place even there? Bad consumer judgment I guess. I made the mistake of buying a few things here before. Never again.

Awesome place! Went out of their way on a Saturday to get a hard to find part from the warehouse for my 98 Boxster. Better prices and faster than the dealership.
