“I usually don't write reviews but we just left a post office with a smile. Wasn't expecting 5 star service but that's exactly what we got when getting my 6 month year olds passport. The staff treated us like their own family and the process went as smooth as it could. If you have post office type things to get taken care of, this is the place to go. I'll be going here for all my post office needs and might even stop in to say hi to the great staff they have working here.”

“This location is right downtown (historic building) and is one of the more sizeable in Wheaton. There was hardly a wait even though I visited during a rush period. The service was phenomenal and the postal clerk took the time to review my passport renewal materials and offered me all the mailing options so that I could make the best choice. “This is my new local post office and I avoided it the first few weeks because of the awful reviews. Once I finally went I really had no trouble. Not really any lines and Precious is always very nice as well as everyone else here. Never anIssue anytime of day. I had a package mishap only once when a different worker didn’t tell me the address wasn’t coming up for where I was sending it to-so it was returned to me and I had to pay shipping for it twice. Other than that 5 stars and im in here 2-3 times a week at different times during the day.Update like a year later : I wish I could leave another separate review as they really are always so nice here and it’s too bad the old reviews keep the overall reviews of this post office so low. Had a prepaid return but not a box for it (couldn’t use the free priority boxes) was about to buy one when a worker gave me a free box from the back.”
“Usually I come here after a less than satisfying trip to the Westmont Post Office and this location is a breath of fresh air. The employees are helpful and kind. Even when there is a long line behind me, they still don't rush or make it feel like I'm inconveniencing them.”
“A huge Thank you to Amber for helping us with our passports at our appointment today. She was quick and efficient handling our paperwork and taking our photos. Beyond all that, she was more than eager to help another family with theirs even though they did not have an appointment.

“On the positive side, the workers were helpful when I had questions about international shipping. On the negative side, only two employees were working in the front, and I stood in line for about 10 minutes before receiving help. In comparison to other USPS locations, I would say this staff was more polite and helpful, and the wait time was about average.”
“This is truly the USPS I’ve ever been to. I had trouble getting my fingerprints but both ladies there had so much patience with me and really tried everything what they can do to help me out for literally an hour and a half. And I eventually was able to get record from FBI within the day, thanks to the two best employees in this location. I can’t say enough how thankful I am for their persistence and service-mindedness. Thank you so much again!! You guys are the best!!”
“Strangely enough I have a fair bit of experiences with many different post offices in the area and this location is by far one of the nicest. The employees have come to recognize me and I am able to joke around with them which breaks the usual PO tension.”

“This is the best post office and I even drive out of my way a little bit just to come here. They're open JUST long enough after work hours (open until 6pm on weekdays!) so i can get my small etsy business orders out after my full time job. They always scan my packages without hesitation and with a smile, too! I'll never go to another post office again (and i've tried many over the years: Willow Springs, Bolingbrook, Westmont, Willowbrook, Oak Brook...) The workers are friendly, efficient, and never close a minute earlier than closing time. Thank you!”

“I never been to this location. I was in the area and decided to stop in and send my package. Customer Service was nice. Clerks were very knowledgeable and professional with dealing with the ignorance of a rude customer. While waiting in line, I witnessed a customer be very rude to the clerk in which she didn’t raise her voice or stoop to the customer’s level. I’m very impressed on how the cashier handled the situation. There are some extremely obnoxious people in the world and love to come and ruin the happiness of others. Some people are angry without cause. I will definitely come back to this post office.”

“There have been two occurrences where my package was delivered to the wrong house, BUT they have always come through and found it within the day. I just had this happen last night and got a call this afternoon saying they’d send a carrier out to check where it might be. The offices were closed and someone still came and brought me my package. I’ve never had a post office be so responsive and helpful, and I appreciate all that they’ve done and continue to do.”

Since I rarely use the postal service, I usually had questions on how different kinds of mail service work. Each time the employees there answered my questions patiently and helped me find the best rate. The packages I've sent so far have all reached their destinations in the time frame promised.”

“I had a problem with a delivery and called the post office and they did an exceptional job of getting involved and located with a distant neighbor who was not helpful until the post office explained it was a crime to keep the package. I have used this post office frequently and they are always nice and responsive. I have spoken to the supervisor about their great attitude and helpfulness.”

“I visited this location on 7/29 around 11am. Both employees at the front desk were extremely kind, and very helpful! The best experience I had with visiting a post office. I had a larger item to ship out with prepaid label and they found me a solution in order for the item to fit.”
“I think it is Tonya who works frequently works the right counter? She’s always super sweet. Very helpful and wonderful to talk to. Star USPS employee.I have not interacted with others working the counter. I’m only there to drop off mail with prepaid labels. Never had any problems.”
“We had the best customer service at this location today for our passport appointment, which is solely what I am basing my review on. Denise was the one who helped us. She was very professional, efficient, and kind. She noticed that my passport photo (taken elsewhere) would likely not work and took a much better one for me. Did we have to wait for our appointment? Yes. But one look at the facility and it's easy to see why. The building is small, and the line is long. BOTH employees were hard at work the entire time and were courteous and patient. However, they are understaffed. The appointments take longer than what USPS says they will. These issues are not in the control of the employees at the front desk. To the employees...thank you for your hard work!”

“This place has easy accessible parking lot iff the store. Spacious area with island and supplies ( for purchase) to prepare your package. PO box is available. Andrea was very helpful and friendly. Speedy service with no lines.PLEASE MAKE A NOTE-post office will be closed for lunch from 1-2.If you are picking up missed Package(s), please do not goto this location. All packages pick up at carol stream location.There is no access to printer here so please print your label at home. Cashier will not able to print your label however QR CODE is okay for her to accept it.”
“I see a lot of negative reviews here, but I gotta say that my experience at this location has been pretty positive. My mail carrier is great and when I've gotten a notice that a delivery attempt was made, but no one was home, I've always been able to get it the next day without issue. The hours do make it tough, but luckily I have the flexibility to get to the facility when they are open. I did have to call once after tracking a package and finding out it was at the facility but hadn't been delivered. The individual I spoke with (I wish I'd gotten his name...) was helpful and pulled someone out of a meeting to help me track it down. They found the package and I picked it up later that day. Sometimes they get it right!!!”
