Umber at PNC Bank provided me with the best banking experience I have ever had. She was highly professional, incredibly nice, and her expertise was impressive. She helped my fiancé and I open new accounts we felt valued and well taken care of throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Umber for her exceptional service.

I just made an ATM deposit to this bank and needed to use bathroom. Was told there was "no public bathroom". I showed them my PNC atm card. I guess I will deposit my money elsewhere.

I stopped in Saturday to do my bank business about 915 am. I was on way to road trip and needed some cash staff is awesome and friendly. Shoutout to the brunette working the drive up. She noticed my bearded dragon shirt and started conversating about reptiles and how she likes tarantulas. Wish I had grabbed her name etc. I like her

Coming into this branch is like visiting family. They care about you and your financial well being. Kevin and his team have helped me with administrative tasks in time crunches and advised me of sound financial strategies. Couldn't be more satisfied with the services I received from them. This review is for PNC corporate and NOT this specific location. I have been getting harassed by phone and mail ever since they took over my mortgage. I have NOT made a late payment. They are rude and inconsiderate on the telephone.

This is the greatest bank. The people at the Downer's Grove branch are fantastically fantastic. I just had the pleasure of spending the last 30 minutes with Umber - she is simply outstanding; so cooperative, so personable, so friendly, so professional, and so smart. She's going to have a baby in August and be out for 4 months, and I am sure that she will greatly missed. I'd give her 10 stars if I could.And while I'm at it, I also have to give very honorable mention to Jean Schiltz and Chris Badillo.I just met Jean yesterday, and I was greatly impressed with her professionalism, her kindness, her caring, her friendliness,and her very positive attitude. I have known Chris for about 3 years - he's very responsible, hard working, respectful, and really does his best to take care of his clients.I've been an attorney with my own practice for about 50 years, so I know how hard it can be to find really great people - well, you have 3 gems in Umber, Jean, and Chris.One more thing - I've had some trouble with my credit in the past - mostly because I've been ripped off by unscrupulous people. While I was with Umber, she told me that I have been selected to apply for a PNC credit card. I figured I'd say yes I would like to apply, but I told her that I was betting against myself - I knew that I would be denied because I have been denied for maybe 10 credit cards in the past.Well, to my unbelievable surprise, Umber got me approved for the very best PNC credit card. I still can't believe it.To briefly summarize, I love the bank, and I love the people.Seymour Wasserstrum

I would like to give special recognition to Nida Khan. She helped me with a technical difficulty that I was experiencing with doing a transaction while using my PNC iPhone App. It was not an easy fix, but Nida persevered in solving the problem. Thank you Nida and PNC Bank.

We are long-time PNC customers with quite a bit of money saved in our PNC account. Early on the branch service, personal attention and flexible products and solutions made our Lombard branch feel like a small town, community bank. We were known personally, and we knew the branch staff. Our branch even connected with my sorority to serve women who were trying to get back onto their feet after various life-situations. Then, I don't know if the bank is under all new management or what, but services started to become less flexible, with less options, staff was shuffled off to other branches and our Lombard branch became something like, just come here if you want to do one or 2 things on the tablets! That's it. No tellers, no product staff... and corporate customer service at the call-in number, good grief! Just about zero help. Agents never "have access" to the right account information to help us when we need it, call center hours are less than 24 (which, who banks only M-F between 9-5 anymore?!) and even when agents do "note, report, escalate" our issues we have ended up having to call back multiple times to find out if things have been resolved - usually the "notes" from the previous calls aren't in the computer, sheesh! BUT THEN... after a major bank mess-up on a large deposit we made, my husband and I decided to travel to a branch in Downer's Grove that still offers full-service banking. We went in attitudes blazing, ready to fight for what we knew we needed and WHAT?! There's our old branch manager, Kevin, from our own local branch who had been so wonderful, knowledgeable and people-facing in our early PNC years! As expected, Kevin and his team at the Downer's Grove branch have it on LIT! The teller was able to process our deposit, fix the previous problem, advise us about how to do this in the future and offer us additional products without making us feel like she was being "salesy", which she was, but it felt optional, not full of pressure. We felt that "hometown, local bank" feel again. We're still leaving PNC once we relocate, but until then, Kevin and the staff at the Downer's Grove branch have made it our new place to conduct our financial business. Corporate is still kind of inflexible of the times, but we can get what we need done, with Kevin.
