My kids brought in their coin collection and were curious about selling some. The gentleman who worked there was very friendly and took the time to go through the coins. My kids and I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back!

Finding myself in Downers Grove for a few days and also being a silver bug, it wasn't long before I found Pete's Coin Shop. I was very pleasantly surprised by the guys behind the counter and their prices, so much so that I get my fiancé to go there for me when she returns to see family, rather than try to out-do them elsewhere. It's basically impossible anyway. Highly recommended!

First time being in recently, and it was great. It's a small shop with a lot of variety. The guy that helped me was very friendly, patient, and answered all questions I had. It's a very laid back atmosphere which is a good change from most other shops that are uptight. Picked up some nice items and decent prices. I would definitely recommend checking this place out. I'd definitely drop by again, given the opportunity.

I could not be happier with them. I used to call around for the best prices for buying and selling my metals and they ALWAYS the best prices. I no longer call around I just go there because they are fair and honest.

Great little shop nestled in downtown Downers Grove with fairly easy parking nearby. Pete and Dan are friendly and will answer all of your questions and allow you to browse the case. Pricing is fairly competitive to other local shops, though I have only received spot price when selling gold there and a little above spot with sovereign silver coins. (May want to comparison shop when selling your metals.) Overall, recommended.

I recently visited Pete's to sell a coin collection. They were a little further from me than some other coin dealers, but they have some very good Google reviews. I was happy with the service and prices, and highly recommend them.
