I found the three or four items I needed here really quickly, and when I got to the line at the front of the store, one staff member notice the line was getting long and immediately dropped what she was doing to open a new register and help folks in line. They were really nice here. I would definitely come back to this location.

Holistic Veterinary Services
424 75th St, Downers GroveDr Katz has been treating my dog with an autoimmune condition that affects his eyes. If I had stayed with traditional medicine and the veterinary opthalmologist they would have had to remove his eye by now. Per Dr Katz's instructions I changed his diet, she added some supplements and he is going strong 2 years later at age 12.
I also have a senior rescue with heart problems, skin problems, anxiety, and Dr Katz has helped him to get to the best health he can be in after he was found as a stray with heartworm and probably years of neglect. He is the sweetest dog and I'm grateful for the time I have left with him knowing we have done everything possible for him to be happy and healthy as a senior.
Thank you Dr. Katz for your expertise for our pets. And your staff is wonderful. Everyone in your office truly loves the animals they treat.

They’re not a big fan of the vet building but they sure do love the people. Their pricing is very reasonable too. One of my cats needed surgery and I was expecting it to cost at least three times as much as it did!

2151 63rd St, Downers GroveRiver has been going to training and Doggie Care since January 2023. After completing her training she attends doggie care. She loves going to school. The staff is very knowledgeable and loving towards the dogs. River also gets her baths and nails trimmed with the groomers. Those are not her favorite days but thankful to the staff to get her clean and trimmed.
It’s great to have a doggie care close to home and I know that she’s taken care of when I’m at work. I love it that she can get her energy worn out at school especially in the hot summer days and cold winter days when it’s harder to take longer walks with her.

6901 Dunham Rd, Downers GroveI found this establishment from a referral from my previous kennel because they were already booked up. Big mistake on their part because I will not be returning to that kennel. This is my new "go to" kennel. On short notice, I needed to leave for a week and CLK was able to get me in. I was able to do a walk through the facility prior to leaving Amber. Since this was Amber's first overnight, I was nervous. I don't like "first time stays" to be a week. I would rather have a single night "starter" but I didn't have time. The staff was very receptive to Amber's arrival and most importantly, they could wonderful care of Amber. She had a spacious kennel and free time that was not group play, but one-on-one with a staffer. Sweet! Per my request, I was sent an occasional photo of Amber. Yes, I am that over protect dog Mom. I am somewhat hesitant to share this hidden gem, but I have to admit I have shared this location with a couple of my dog friends. This is a winner!

Smart Dogs Training & Lodging
1206 Woodcrest Dr, Downers GroveWe just adopted our new puppy, Matty, and he would NOT stop biting us to the point of breaking skin. We were ready to surrender him back to the shelter, but Ian from Smart Dogs offered to move our in-home training appointment earlier to help us out. Within 90 minutes Matty stopped biting, learned to go up/down stairs, and we were equipped with tools to continue his training. We purchased a full in-home training package right on the spot. I know this sounds too good to be true, but we were AMAZED at Ian's expertise, patience, and the results speak for themselves. Smart Dogs is HIGHLY recommended.

She was extremely helpful in helping both of us figure out which dishes to get. We both got skillets and they were delicious!!!! Megan was very friendly and a great server and we have now been going every weekend because she was so nice. Actually that first weekend we went Saturday and Sunday lol.
