I am a professional MMA fighter also an active Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor and teacher, McCarthy training System definitely one of the best training system that I ever had. I am getting stronger, faster and more flexible, and it will help me a lot for my upcoming fights. I strongly recommend.

I first decided to see Steve about a post-surgery rehab on my right wrist. This was my second surgery and I wanted to get the best results, after having three bones removed, to regain good grip and range of motion in my wrist. Steve had worked with other clients with this same problem and got right to work. He assessed the injury, identified goals of the program and got right to work on getting my wrist stronger. After a few weeks my Doctor couldn't believe the range of motion I had achieved since working with Steve.After many years of competitive Judo and BJJ training, we expanded the rehab to other injuries I had, due to the original injury and other long time aches and pains. Coach Steve is a great coach! He always makes sure that you understand the techniques properly before you start training. He focuses on this because he avoids you from becoming injured. He wants you to benefit from everything he teaches you and do so with out injuring yourself. I really appreciated him always explaining what I was doing, why I was doing it and how the techniques will benefit me. He is always encouraging especially when you may feel you can't do what he just explained. It's great having a coach who is well educated himself to help educate me as the athlete.

By far the best place I have ever trained, Coach McCarthy's training is this most advanced well-rounded training system I have ever experienced. If you are VERY SERIOUS about training and becoming not only bigger, but stronger, faster, quicker, more flexible and develop sport specific power all in one package become a member of McCarthy's Training Systems. Every other coach I've seen in all my years in the Southwest Suburb area runs there gym, CrossFit Gym, etc. like a mass produced factory, you come in, everyone is treated at the same general "half-hearted" level and then you leave so the next group can come in and do the same thing. Coach McCarthy loves what he does and looks forward to train EACH ATHLETE SPECIALLY everyday. I thought I had great training and great knowledge living at the Olympic Training Center for 4 years but Coach McCarthy teaches me something new everyday and takes time to hand carve me to become not only a better and stronger athlete for wrestling but teaches me how to rehab my body to fix posture for sport-specific and for daily better health benefits by developing dynamic threshold in joints as well. The best place I have ever trained even after 4 years at the Olympic Training Center is with Steve McCarthy. My technique is improving and am now cleaning 350 lbs.+ at less then 200 lbs. bodyweight. It is even better that not only am I seeing improvement in myself, but improvement in everyone I train with too, it is a great confidence boost as I head into major competition soon myself.Join if you have the right mindset;Mark Stenberg

Steve is amazing and will help you accomplish your fitness goals. Weather your a mma fighter or a mom, he will customize every workout for you. Fun workouts, never boring. I highly recommend him to anyone!
