Given a 20% discount card to be activated after 5 drug prescriptions. When I attempted to cash it in the card was confiscated. During a conversation with the pharmacy manager, he referred to medicare participants as "poor people".Then hung up on me.

One of the worst Jewels-Osco stores in western suburbs. Uneducated, untrained and rude staff and worst is the female manager running them. Do not waste your time here. S.Azimi, PhD

Absolutely horrible. That's gotta be the worst Jewel I've ever been to, from expired products and rude stuff who doesn't want to honor sales and act like I'm trying to steal something. That happened several times already and even though this store is the closest to my house I happily drive somewhere else. Never again.

Regular change in a store layout isn't helpful to shopping. Moving food because you're out of one item and going another in it's place so a consumer think you've moved it isn't helpful either. Just keeps getting worse with time.

Deli service is super slow employees move in slow motion. Managers don't really care.

For some reason, this location doesn’t carry some of the same Asian mushrooms that you find at the Naper blvd location. They’re usually 99 cents. A star was taken off. Everything was well stocked. If you have the app and an account, you can save even more. This location isn’t as busy as some of the others.

Is anyone constantly finding items (especially bread) on shelf in quantity, of one day expiration? And getting cheated again and again? I have 3 items with a best by today, untouched from 2 days ago-- full of mold. 8/4/23-- again. Also, chicken and wings constantly tough leather texture...hours old-- full price. Again. And. Again.

Albertsons: My family has shopped Jewel for almost 70 years at various stores and neighborhoods and felt it was part of our community but there has been a drastic drop in overall quality of experience stemming from poor cleanliness (e.g., Odors, leakage, plain dirty inside and out, etc.) Two stars overall only because of most of the staff is in earnest and once an issue is brought they work to make it right-BUT-managers have to actually manage--in particular regarding quality assurance and quality control related to store cleanliness and food hygiene. The other day I 'peeled up' an egg-roll flat from some kind of sticky goo that I needed to ask the butcher for a paper towel to wipe my hand. I quietly pointed it out to a manager and they took care of it right away but c'mon...What is the culture at the store(s)? Understood it may be tough these days with employees hard to find but someone has got to be the heavy making sure the store is clean and food is stored/displayed in a hygienic manner. In conjunction with the drastically higher prices, this is a one-two killer punch. You guys offer good benefits and pay. Insist on quality in return from both managers and staff to give customers at least the expectation and manifestation of higher quality to at least partially justify the prices you now charge. As a contrast, visit the Grayslake store to see how basic cleanliness is an obvious priority. Kroger: Now that you have the go-ahead with your deal, you've got to turn the corner on this otherwise the Albertsons acquisition will just be an anvil dragging you down. I will go somewhere else.

Love to buy from here when there are great deals or coupons, but they are a little expensive.
