It truly saddens me to write this review. I have used Terri for many years (long time customer) and unfortunately, won't be doing so anymore. I have suffered a few health issues which now requires I have help when I bring my 3 dogs. My husband has been going with me. He lifts my dogs into the tub and table for her. Well, since she has decided (which is her right as is her business) to only be open 4 days a week...the business has slipped. I canceled on her once because I was extremely sick and didn't want to pass it along. Then, it takes FOREVER to get rescheduled. We get rescheduled and she cancels the morning of which I was more then ok with as I don't want to get sick. This is now 8 weeks that my dogs haven't been washed. I admit that I was forgetful on continuing to connect. I get a text with a day to come in and respond within 20 minutes that yes I will take it. (She claims to have never received my response.) fast forward and we are now at over 3 months for my dogs not being groomed. We showed up to the appointment that she offered me only to see someone else booked for that slot. I tried calling her with no answer and then the texts begin. If she would have apologized from the get....we wouldn't be here writing this review. We loaded all 3 dogs in 2 cars and showed up to only feel completely disrespected. As a long time client of hers...at some point we should have been made a priority and booked. Her communication needs to improve or maybe work 2 extra days a month to keep up with demand. Just a suggestion. We felt as though she completely disrespected us by the blame game via text. In the end, I said please call me if u want to talk and work this out. No call and here we are. It has become a HUGE problem to schedule an appointment. I was always kind and courteous to her and her daughter. We tipped well and were always part of the process. We put our dogs in the tub and table for her. U figure for long time customers, u would do what u could do to keep them. We shouldn't have communicated via text. She should have picked up the phone. Wish her the best truly and hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else. Thanks for the great service over the years. Too bad this couldn't be resolved with a simple phone call.

Terry is amazing and we love her. Smokey loves her and we appreciate how great she is with him. When my dad passed away, I tried to take his dog to pet smart because I didn’t know where Terry was located, Smokey freaked out. It was so gross and they were so rude. I couldn’t leave him. A little searching and we found her. Dropped Smokey off and he was actually happy to go. Not sad at all that we were leaving. She got him in last minute and I will forever be grateful. We will never use another groomer.

My 2 littles are terrified of having their nails cut. Terry did a great job. You can't beat a $5 nail trim.

Mediocre at best. The first time I took my pup she was great! Did an awesome job! I was so excited that I found a groomer... and then after that it was down hill.... she did a poorer job every time, started cancelling, one time she didn’t even tell me she couldn’t groom him and I showed up to a closed shop.... Overall a bad attitude and lacks professionalism. I would go else where. Someone who is friendly and kind.

Terri does a great job with my 2 dogs, both double coated, and when they come home they are Beautiful, smell awesome and shed a lot less! I would recommend Fur Play to everyone.

Our tiny little (with a big personality) Sumo goes to see Teri at Fur Play for her grooming and is very excited to do so. When I pick her up she looks so wonderful. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. I trust her.

Terri did a great job with our special needs puppy! My dog is 9 months old, had never been groomed, and has a brain disorder that causes him to constantly shake. Several other groomers told me that I should take him somewhere else "in case he got hurt" and were too afraid to try and groom him. Terri was willing to work with him as slow as he needed. She has a harness with a pool noodle and a way to fix the collar around his body rather than relying on his own balance abilities. She was able to groom him in one visit without a nick on him - which is pretty impressive for a dog with a movement disorder! I would recommend Fur Play to anyone, especially handicapped or special needs dogs.
