I've debated on the stars but to be honest, the amount of work this store causes me with online p/u orders required deduction. They have great deals and items are fresh. For the most part the people are nice. However, Amazon, WF, Aldi & Marianos definitely know how to handle online p/u orders properly and without complication. This is the 3rd order out of 4 that I've had issues. No where does it tell you that your online receipt in your account will not be accurate later. Other places update your order online and on paper receipt. Manager was very nice in explaining it to me, but really my online account should reflect my final bill.Only once out of 4 orders has someone texted me to make sure that I agree with the substitutions. Every other place does and this store only did it once. So they give whatever without asking me first.Clipped coupons are not always applied to the final order.Today, they overcharged me $20+. I asked for 4 green peppers which came out to $3.96 so they charged me $3.96 4 times. They did this with 2 other items. So they don't even bother checking their receipts for errors prior to pickup.Called to ask if someone could review the receipt with me over the phone after my family member picked up my order. I have the receipt number and it shouldn't be a problem as it's been done in the past. The CS girl clearly does not want to help nor work. I am told she is unable to look up past orders (wait....the order was today) and that i have to come to the store. I nicely try to explain that I can't come to the store and we've done this before over the phone and again I'm told I have to drive ALL the way back there. That is a 25-30min drive depending on traffic. What I didn't say over the phone is that I am just getting over COVID and a personal trauma and I have no desire right now to be in public along with the fact I'm working 50-60 hour weeks. Truth is, I shouldn't even have to explain myself on why I can't come there. I DO NOT want to go into your store - HENCE why I place online pickup orders and have family pick it up. My wishes should be respected. If I place an online order for pickup it clearly means i don't want to be walking around your store and for my own personal reasons. Its a shame they won't work with customers from my experience today because I actually do like their products and prices. I've been very impressed with the quality of the produce and meat, just not with their online pickup system nor the resolution process.

Good selections of prepared or ready to cook and general groceries, including fresh organic produce. Very competitive prices. It is my first stop for groceries. I now only go to whole foods or other grocery store to supplement what I cannot find at fresh thyme

Former cashier of this location. Do not shop here. Worked there for several months until the new store manager showed up. Was physically assaulted be her on her second day there. She had pushed me several inches back. Another associate vouched for me. If you support workers do not shop here. Management likes to physically assault employees. ?

I was assisted by a worker, Stacey, during my visit. I was having a bad day and she really cheered me up. I would have completed the receipt review, but my husband dumped it.

Love this store. The produce is fresh. Everything is clean and displayed beautifully. There is a nice selection of vitamins. I love their selection of Boars meat.

Store layout is easy to navigate but if you do need assistance employees are eager to help out.

Fresh Thyme typically has exactly what I go into the store for. It's clean and always well stocked. The butcher was particularly helpful today in answering a question I had. I do wish they had more checkout lines, self checkout is fine - but an employee usually has to come over anyway, it's nice to interact with the employees, and traditional checkouts provide jobs for the community.

My favorite pet store for cat food! They have a lot of high end, quality brands.

Been shopping here since the first week it opened and have a few friends who work for corporate. What's up with the Butcher? Cool it with your attitude. I'm respectful and nice you should be careful how you treat people. Asked a simple question today. Walked away to cool off. You will never disrespect me again. I promise! I'm going to make things uncomfortable. Give respect, get respect.

Super friendly service with staff who are passionate about working there. Also reasonable prices, not like the other "whole paycheck" store.

They have their CBD locked up and I had to have an employee watch me shop the CBD which made me feel rushed to make a decision. Also noticed they only have one cashier and if that employee has to help at the self checkout there is no cashier.

This is the perfect small grocery store with absolutely amazing customer service. They have a lot of specialty items, as well as great produce and meat. It's like going to a mini Whole Foods without paying Whole Foods prices!

Very disappointed that Fresh Thyme has chosen the route of going with self-serve check out. This is fine to have self-serve, but give customers the option of waiting for a human cashier and "do it yourself" (this option should offer a percentage off discount since customers do not work for Fresh Thyme). Today - December 10th, the River Forest store did not even offer any human cashiers forcing me to use self-serve. The assistant manager (who used to be very friendly and pleasant) ushered me to a self-serve station and when I asked how to do it - her response? "Just Read". I am an elderly person and was expecting a bit more courtesy and patience. When I came to scanning produce, I was even more confused. The asst-mgr passed me and I asked how to ring up produce--she said "just enter the number". She did not explain how and where to do this and just walked away. She became even more cross and rude later on. I'm sure she is over worked having to deal with the problems self-serve stations cause, but to take it out on the elderly is uncalled for. I used to love giving my business to this little market, but today....hmmm....not sure I even want to go in there anymore.
