When I lived in Downers Grove, our family, the Marchese clan, took all of our pets here. Over the years Dr. Merkin treated us like a family. I wanted to be a vet because of him. He was so kind to me as a teenager. He even allowed me to watch a couple procedures so I could get an idea of what it was like. (Ended up being a teacher instead because vet school is so hard to get into) Glad to see he is still taking care of our fur babies ❤️

Received good customer service. People were friendly. Prices were reasonable for the shots my dog received.

I couldn't imagine taking my babies anywhere else!! Dr. Sharon is the best vet I have encountered and she is great with all three of my babies. The staff is also so helpful and nice and do everything they can to get me in for an appointment and make sure I have everything I need even when Dr. Sharon isn't in. We are the Baldwin crew and they treat my babies as of they were they're own.

Dr Sharon was amazing. All the staff was extra nice. I was very surprised how high the prices were for blood work, supplies and medication compared to other clinics. I must confess I should have asked about costs upfront but as all pet owners know.... emotions are high when your fur baby is sick. The good news is Stormy is doing much better.

I will not come back for your services. I found that your "free" wellness exam was no more than cking her ribs/weighing her, declaring her over weight.
Her previous vets saw her every month for weight ck, nail trims (& office visits as needed). None ever said she was over weight after 3 yrs of these monthly visits.
He was clueless what services we were there for. I had to repeatedly ask if she would receive them. I did not find the vet friendly or helpful but the front desk ladies were completely the opposite. They were very helpful and friendly.
I felt he was rushing us in and out, and no real explanation as to what weight she should be for her breed. Very vague and cold. I was disappointed with my experience but aware there are other vet clinics with real wellness exams and are aware of services requested. Thank you for making me see sadly that my using your services are not for us.

Our dog Wrigley was treated by both senior Dr Merkin and Dr Max for over a period of 9 years. As he advanced in age both doctors walked us through all kinds of situations offering immediate help and suggestions to improve his lifestyle. He lived a good 17. We bid him farewell on the May 6th.
I felt like I had to thank the wonderful team of staff and doctors. Thank you.

I really wish that I could have brought my bird in to see the Bird expert. Unfortunately, they told me (in response to my email inquiry), that their Avian specialist wasn't taking in new clients. It is really difficult to locate such professionals in Will County. It's too bad that they did not recommend someone else who may be available.

My cat suddenly got ill today. They got us right in. The staff and doctor were both caring and quickly came up with answers and treatments. We appreciate their outstanding efforts to make our little girl better.

I’ve took my dog here and had a good experience however, I was inquiring a couple of questions and had to ask the same question 3 times before Stephanie would answer it via email.

Our dog was very sickShe had bloody stools, losing weight. They wanted to keep her overnight to give her intravenous fluid. Only problem? They didn't have overnight staff. I came to see her and found her lying in her pooh.

Vet was very unprofessional and inexperienced working with bully breeds. Now I to have to take my dog somewhere else and have him suffer longer... very disappointing! Staff was great otherwise. ??

Bella, got hit right in front of the building. No bed side manner to the owner and will treat your dog as you act
