Where not to go. Was very dissatisfied with the service. We've had positive results in the past with other vehicles, however not this time. The price quoted was $350 for a complete interior/exterior showroom detail. Upon vehicle being dropped off, it was made clear that brand new carpet was just installed along with only two front bucket seats. Very minimal work was needed for the interior. However when the vehicle was returned to our shop, it became clear that the rear hatch was never opened because it represented dirt and debris. We cleaned and detailed it ourselves accordingly. Thankfully we took the time to inspect the work. Reputation is the number one asset of any business. Your company just lost it. We will not be back nor recommend you to anyone else.

Overall, the detail was great! Everything was cleaned very well especially because my car needed lots of work. The only complaint I had about the detail was that my car seats were soaking wet and left my car smelling like wet dog. I know there is no possible way to completely dry seats prior to them giving the car back, but it was horrible and I barely wanted to drive my car. Now, there were some things done operationally with the receptionist Cindy that made this an unpleasant experience.
1. When I booked my appointment, I got a confirmation email that it was scheduled for a specific date. When I realized that I was unable to make it on the scheduled date I contacted them to reschedule. I spoke with Cindy and she stated that I didn't have an appointment for that date. After some searching, she stated that it was scheduled for the following day and it was an error on their part. Perfect! No problem, I changed my schedule to accommodate. The following day, I had an appointment run over and needed to reschedule. I spoke with Cindy again and verbatim she said "didn't you reschedule once already?" I said no and explained the situation. So then I got an appointment for that Thursday.
2. Upon arrival things went well, gave them my car and they said it would take some time because they were backed up. No problem, I was excited to get my car detailed from them because my sister had a good experience.
3. The detail is stated to take 1.5-2 hours. My appointment was at 11 am and that's when I arrived, my car wasn't completed until 2:30pm. When Cindy called to tell me that my car was done, she stated verbatim " we charged you an additional $25 because there was dog hair and some hard stains." I thought how could you just charge me without my knowledge. So, when I arrived to pick up my car, I was thinking the total would be $175. She stated, the total was $200. I asked for her to explain. She stated that my car was a compact SUV and it was an additional $25. Ok, I understand that, so I then let her know that I only had $175 total to pay for my detail because I wasn't aware that I would be charged an additional $25 for the dog hair and stains. She immediately got defensive and said "do you know how hard it is to clean those seats?" Once again, I'm thinking no I don't because I don't detail cars. So, I said, I understand the charges, but operationally, you could have given me a call PRIOR to charging me for the dog hair/stains etc. so that I could be prepared for the cost or let you know if I wanted that service for the additional cost. She continued to go on about how it was a long day and they lost power etc. and I'm thinking that has nothing to do with me. I then told her, I only have the cash I was going to pay for the service which was $175 and that was all she could charge me because I didn't agree to the additional $25 cost. She said well it's on the sign outside that we could charge more and I understand that, but I said "Cindy, you could've simply called to let me know, just because you can charge, doesn't mean that I shouldn't be notified of the charge". She said "fine I'll just charge you the $175." I said, you're right that's all you can charge.
Now, once again, I think overall they did a good job, but if a client is going to be charged more because of a service, they should be contacted to let them know of the additional charge.

I've been driving from Oak Lawn for almost three years now, and I've never been disappointed. I typically visit every 6 months or so for the Professional Detail package.
The staff is respectful, and their service is always prompt. What else could you ask for? :)

Details Kings does a fantastic job of 'rehabbing' my car when it's covered in dirt or salt. My car always looks like it's back on the showroom floor. Highly recommend!

Everything went well for me today. Despite the other location being fully booked until Thursday, I managed to find an available slot at this one. David, who happened to be there, agreed to clean my car inside and out for a reasonable price, even though they were only working on retooling for the reopening. The car looked brand new when he finished, just like it did after the previous detailing session. I will definitely continue to be a loyal customer.

I was in the "waiting" room and should have been offered a chance to see the "excessive " dog hair I was charged for and given the he option to have it cleaned or not for the up charge

Excellent job!! Cleaned top to bottom, inside and out. Was my 1st visit, but definitely not the last. Fair pricing, good customer service. Nice waiting area with Wi-Fi and a Starbucks close by. My truck looks better than showroom right now.Services: Full body wash

My appointment time was verified before hand, the employees all professional. The pricing is spot on. The time it took was reasonable. They have a lovely waitinv area with WiFi. Close to a Starbucks if wanting to go there. My truck was better than showroom clean. They cleaned everything, top to bottom, in and out! First time visit and would absolutely visit again.

Just about everything went right. I scheduled a professional detail several weeks in advance, and got a confirmation call the previous day to double-check that I was coming in. I arrived exactly on time, was told 2-3 hours, and they were finished in 2.5. The interior of the car was excellent, no complaints. The exterior was mostly excellent; they forgot to finish a spot or two (no big deal, I finished them myself quickly), but amazingly they were able to remove paint transfer from my bumper that I had given up on long ago, so that was a welcome surprise! I feel the professional detail is an excellent value given the price they charge.The only caveat to getting service at Detail Kings is their location: It's in the lower level of a parking garage. This was a minor issue getting back to the location using ride sharing (uber/lyft) as the app and driver get confused by the destination info. But if you are willing to wait on-site, or have a family member to pick you up and drop you off, then this is a non-issue, and I would definitely recommend Detail Kings to others.

Showed up 7/14 at 4pm, an hour before closing. They normally do great work but I am bummed about being turned away that far ahead of closing time.
