What a relief to find Belle Aire Kennels! I have had family members come to the house (not reliable!) and have used highly paid "professional dog sitters" who drank all my vintage wine after I paid them in advance. My dog has stayed at Belle Aire Kennels my last three trips. Finally I could vacation without any worries, knowing my girl was in the hands of true Professionals. Highest Recommendation! Don't take chances and ruin your vacation.

Wonderful and caring environment. After many years we continue to be among the Belle Aire Kennel’s biggest fans. Knowing our now elder dog is being so well treated and cared for has made a wonderful positive contribution to our ability to enjoy our trips and vacations. We feel reassured when dropping off our dog for a long stay because he so enjoys being there. He is always excited when we arrive and he is even more excited when he is greeted by the folks who are there to welcome him.

When I picked my dog up after 2 days he smelled like urine and had a big gash on his nose. He cried the whole way home and sprinted around the house looking for food and water once we got there. The staff was very cold and barely even talked. I think I paid $130 for my dog to be abused for 48 hours. Everything in the description was a lie.

We've been coming to Bellaire for years. They take great care of my pooch and accommodate her med needs and her inability to get along with other dogs.

My old dog had a short stay there last week. Was super nervous to leave her but she did well and John couldn't have been nicer. Helped with lifting my dog in the car when we left as she can't climb in anymore. Thank you!

The owner was really nice...they live on the premises. Our dog has resource guarding issues. The owner was okay with it. I Informed that it was food guarding. The office was clean and orderly. They were working on landscaping in the front yard when we dropped off our dog. We didn't see the area where she would be. I felt the price was reasonable. We would take her there again. The owner needs proof of vaccinations/Bordetella. Everything was entered into their computer.

The staff are very caring people. They took great care of my fur baby. I call the next day to check on her. I didn't get an answer but I left a message and they called me back which really set my heart at ease. This was my first time boarding my fur baby but the next time I come to Chicago she will be staying at Belle Aire Kennels. ❤

We boarded our two dogs for two nights arriving Friday at 5 pm and picking up Sunday at 9 am. Our dogs were boarded clean and recently bathed. When we picked up our dogs, they smelled like urine, and the white dog's paws were soaked in urine at least 3 inches up. The little dog had urine and feces on her underside. We had to immediately go to a self service dog wash as the smell in the car was unbearable. The kennel also ran out of our dogs' food without letting us know. We had measured the food carefully, so they clearly overfed and did not follow instructions. To make matters worse, our little dog came down with a highly contagious upper respiratory disease which the vet said was due to boarding. If you love your dogs and consider them to be part of your family, DO NOT EVER board them here!!! This place is dirty and slipshod. A horrible experience for us and our doggie girls.
