Came in for toenail & wing clips for my bird.Work was adequate, but vet did not even off toenails (so, rough), or smooth off wing feathers, so wings, when opened, looked pretty terrible. This clinic is not an avian clinic, so they do not do annual blood tests. I suppose they would do blood tests if requested.

I really wish I could give All Creatures 1000 Stars!!!!!All Creatures Great and Small were recommended by several neighbors years ago... And, after Woodridge Animal Hospital Closed :( years ago, we decided to give All Creatures a try.The staff and doctors go far out of their way to make your pet as comfortable as possible. They are very, very, accommodating, and the doctors are not only knowledgeable and professional, but also technically savvy regarding your pet.We normally have the pleasure of dealing with Dr. Hulesch, who is an outstanding doctor, and treats your pet like one of her own...My dog loves her!So, if you are looking for a kindhearted and caring veterinarian practice, All Creatures is hands down, the best vet out there!

They killed my rat. Gave her surgery to remove a tumor. I came back a few days later as she was having some respiratory issues, breathing very heavy. Dr took all of maybe THREE minutes in total to quickly listen to her breathing to tell me she is fine and she’s just stressed being there, even though her breathing was like that before then. She then sent me on my way. Had to take my poor rat for three days to three different vets to finally at the last vet be told she is in respiratory distress and has been for the past 3 days. Something the first doctor should have caught. I will never bring another animal back here- EVER. I also let everyone know to stay far far away from this place and the whole story that happened. Those people I tell will also never use this vet either. I’m not sure how their stars are so high when they are clearly medically negligent. I know how the vet field works and I know there are so many vets that actually care. Maybe they care about dogs and cats but DO NOT bring your exotics there.

My dad is a retired veterinarian. This has been my first and only experience seeing a veterinarian other than him. Growing up within and working for my dad’s practice gives me a special perspective. I cannot more highly recommend ACGAS! We have worked with every vet for our dog and cat. Our cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes and Dr Hulesch has been incredible to work with his various needs! The front desk staff and techs also deserve a shout out for their compassion and care. Love them and it feels like home.

Firstly, the location is beautiful! Very very clean and warm/welcoming.Doctor Andrew Eisenberg is the absolute best! I took my exotics in to see him and he has been the most generous caring vet I’ve ever taken my little ladies to. They have most definitely gained themselves a lifelong client here, as their care and compassion has been unmatched by any other vet I’ve taken them to. 5/5 stars every visit.THANK YOU ACGAS staff! You guys have helped me more than you’ll ever understand!

For years, I’ve had the pleasure of entrusting my pets’ health to the amazing team at All Creatures Great and Small. From the moment I stepped through their doors, I knew I had found a veterinarian practice that truly goes above and beyond. One aspect that sets them apart is their incredible kindness and dedication. The veterinarians and staff take the time to explain every aspect of my pets’ health, ensuring that I am fully informed and involved in the decision-making process. Their expertise and willingness to address all my concerns have been invaluable. What truly impressed me was the genuine care and love they have for the animals they treat. Each visit, they treat my pets as if they were their own, showering them with affection and ensuring their comfort. It’s clear that they value the well-being of their patients, going the extra mile to ensure their happiness and health.Beyond the exceptional care, ACGAS creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Unlike other veterinary clinics, I never feel like just another number here. The team remembers me and my pets from previous visits, which makes me feel like a valued member of their family. The personalized attention and familiarity foster a sense of trust and comfort that is truly commendable. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend All Creatures to anyone seeking top-notch veterinary care for their beloved pets. With their kind and attentive staff, genuine love for animals, and commitment to creating a familial atmosphere, they have exceeded all my expectations. Trusting them with the health of my pets has been one of the best decisions I’ve made, and I’m grateful to have such an exceptional veterinarian practice in my corner.

It’s taken me awhile to bring myself to write this review. It has always surprised me how highly rated ACGS is, since over the years I have taken my cats there my experiences have ranged from okay to fine. This is mostly because they insist on expensive bloodwork or lab tests, but often don’t call you to let you know what the results are unless you pester them. One vet even left a very annoyed voicemail because I wanted to know the results of the $400 bacteria culture for my kitten, who having a bad URI flare-up after the antibiotics they gave didn’t work. However, I finally found a new vet after I believe medical negligence caused the death of our beloved cat Chloe in November.I took Chloe in on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving because she wasn’t eating. She had done this a couple other times over the past few years — the vet could never figure out what was wrong, but after about a week she would just snap out of it. This time, however, after doing bloodwork, the vet determined she had diabetes — which was a surprise to my husband and I, since she hadn’t shown any diabetic symptoms up to this point. On Friday, we brought Chloe back in. She still wasn’t eating and really wasn’t doing well. The vet asked us if we had ever cared for a diabetic cat, and we told her we hadn’t. She showed us how to inject insulin, gave us a diabetes fact sheet, and sent us home with a few month supply of needles and insulin. She failed to mention that we should NOT be giving insulin to a cat who wasn’t eating.By Sunday, after 3 days of insulin injections, Chloe was in agony. I took her to an emergency vet, who saw her immediately (despite the 5-hour waiting list) when I told her that Chloe hadn’t been eating for a week and I had started giving her insulin. Chloe was in hypoglycemic shock, in kidney failure, and, as a consequence, was hypothermic. The emergency vet advised that there was nothing they could do to save her and recommended humane euthanasia to avoid the painful death ahead of her. After spending thousands of dollars over the course of 5 days to save her, we lost our sweet Chloe to a traumatic death that could have been easily avoided. Her issue of not eating should have been addressed before insulin treatments started — and I wonder if insulin was even necessary, had she just gotten some food in her? Instead, we were left with extreme heartache, a basically unused diabetic kit, and a thousand what-ifs because of the vet’s negligence.
