Opening an account with US Bank was the worst decision I've ever made with banking. I had the account for a week. I was already weary of opening an account because of all the bad reviews I've read, and was told from personal experience, so I only put $100 into the new account. I get my debit card mailed to me via UPS a couple days later, set up the debit card with online banking, and then changed over my direct deposit. The very next day after doing all that, I can no longer access my funds and I had to send address verification, the same address they shipped my debit card to, to their Deposit Operations email. Which takes 2 business days to even be reviewed. I couldn't transfer the funds out nor could I use the debit card. Customer service was absolutely no help. I've never opened, and subsequently closed anaccount so fast. I changed my direct deposit back to my original account, and I'm willing to lose the petty cash I put in the account to never use their banking services again and be able to post an honest review. I got a red flag from this bank the first week I used it. If you're looking for a checking and savings account, don't open a US Bank account, any other bank will service your needs better, and you won't have to deal with what I've had to deal with with my own money. Being declined on a petty purchase, and then being told I have to submit documentation, and I couldn't access my funds is alarming. I'm glad this happened before I received pay from work and was able to take my services back to a reliable source. Do better, and choose better banking besides this.

SAD sign of the times! So after years of being a part of the MoneyPass Network, US Bank of all places has now removed itself from it. They are now penalizing customers with transaction fees. Meanwhile neighborhood gas stations and 7-Elevens are still a part of MoneyPas. What would make US Bank become so greedy just in time for the holidays? US Bank is apparently going broke, cutting corners or pinching pennies. They can never say they value customers again.

Update... I provided my contact information and received a call from a man named Chris who identified himself as a social media embassador for US Bank. He seemed to think I requested to speak with him rather than the other way around. I asked what action will be taken and was told that he did not know. I stand by my objection to allow any employee to ignore the mask mandate and pose a potential threat of infecting the public with Covid-19. I will miss the tellers as they are all excellent and I pray for their safety being forced to work in a space with a security guard who is not concerned with safety. I will not return in person and encourage others to avoid the Dolton location.

OK. So where do I begin I went to this US Bank and was ROBBED!!! literally I used the ATM and it NEVER dispensed my cash!!!!! I filed a dispute claim AFTER AND BEFORE the Branch manager Tony Santana verified there was problems with the ATM..soon after that I was told by Tony the branch manager that on THEIR END THEY...still have no clue who THEY is said that the transaction was PENDING and never went through.but the money was deducted from my account.. ALSO I was given a letter from the branch manager TONY SANTANA verifying their was a malfunction with the ATM and soon after my incident they put the ATM machine OUT OF SERVICE the branch Manager TONY SANTANA also said that it was out of service for several days!!!!! there's definitely something fishy going on here there's definitely a boatload of deception and I'm getting to the bottom of it you're not going to tell me that I and it's on they came there to withdraw money from your ATM and the Machine crashed so okay now it's time for Step 2 I would never ever ever do business with this bank I'm going to continue with reviews until I get I get a positive resolution to this fishy story
