This is a perfectly adequate walmart. It's basically what you'd expect. There's a lot of stuff and ample parking. They didn't have a wedge pillow which I'd like to have bought but oh well. Not very crowded. Easy checkout.

There's a lot of great people at the Walmart supercenter in Dixon Illinois. I want to specifically recognize three wonderful people that I feel are terrific, and deserve to be recognized for their diligent work, excellent communication, skills and service with a smile and that is automotive manager, Mary and associates Matt and Jose. I feel that these great folks I mentioned above are the reason why people want to come back and tell their friends and family as they make sure you're taken care of as such. I'm very grateful for do efficient work with kindness and care and for the time spent and just like anybody if you're patient and you're kind and courteous, they will notice that and respect that. If you are mean, try to rush them and act like you're the only person in the world well that's not how the world works and I've seen other people come in even today and they want service right away and even I said that they could take my spot and they still ran off angry so my heart goes out To these kind people who have to put up with crazy people like what I just described and they still do great work Respect you got to give it to get it these five stars have a lot of weight to them because I've been coming to Walmart for a long time. Got my tires at Walmart several times, and I've been dealing with automotive businesses for a lifetime So take my advice go see the nice folks at Dixon Walmart automotive and they'll take good care of you. Mention my name, James, and that you read my yelp review, be kind and courteous. I know that you're in good hands.

website says joy-cons are in stock. 02/25/23. Drove a long way to get them employee claims they aren't in stock but will come in tomorrow on a sunday? the employee also know exactly what color they are despite them not being there.... I'm assuming it was too much to ask for them to just stock the product which is clearly there so I can buy them... thank you for wasting my time.

OMG!!! I just called the Dixon location and got connected to Electronics. I asked the guy if my particular phone had a card for unlimited text, talk, and data ( and if they had it in the store. He replied "Unless I walk over there and see, I don't know!" I mean! C'mon! If you're going to work, then DO YOUR JOB!!!

I have had no problems at this Walmart supercenter. I think it's too bad that people complain about the smallest things

Since the start of the Covid-19 outbreak Walmart has initiated certain rules for it's customer's to follow to help protect the spread of this virus. According to management that I spoke with these rules are mandated by Walmart Corporate, health officials, County, State and local governments. Since these rules have been put in place I have shopped there on at least 6 or 7 occasions. They have put in place one way isles marked on the floor and have told people to keep social distancing of 6 feet apart. The issue that I have as a 68 year old person with immune system issues is that only about half of the shoppers pay attention to the rules. I am constantly telling people they are going the wrong way and not keeping a safe distance. On my last trip to this Walmart after returning home I called and spoke to management about the situation. I even suggested that they place the one-way signs at eye level so people see them better. He said he can't do that as it is up to others. He assured me that he will remind his employees to inform people that are seen going down the wrong way and not social distancing themselves from others. We will see and I will post again after my next visit. Very Concerned!

This location has the most rude management I've ever encountered. I was in the electronics department looking for an item, and could find no associates to answer my question. Typically this is pretty common for this Walmart, so I wasn't very shocked by that fact. I searched around for a good ten minutes with no one to be found. I just happened to see someone who looked like a manager, and approached them with my question. This person's name was CoDaniel, which I'm not sure if that was first or last name. He proceeded to turn to me quickly, and sharply said "an associate will be with you". I don't see anyone and I have a question, I state that to Mr CoDaniel. He continued on his way, as if to say he could care less about me spending money in the store. The moral of the story is, spend your money at an establishment that cares about you. Mr. CoDaniel apparently forgot that he was wearing a name tag. I will be contacting the corporate office about this as well.

I love Walmart . I do have a major complaint though. Why do you Have to put your shelves so high so average sized women can not reach onto the top shelves without climbing lower shelves? The only other solution is to have someone always in each Isle with a ladder. That means they can not be called up front to check and when they take their breaks and lunches someone needs to take their place. Gee it just might be cheaper to make bigger building and Not have your shelves so high.

I bought my tires here (road hazards and free rotation as well). While I was in getting an oil change and tire rotation, a technician said I had a bad stud that needed replacing. I took it to my mechanic, who said it was fine and did not need to be replaced. The next time I was in for oil and tire rotation, another technician asked me if I got the stud fixed. I let her know I took it to my mechanic, who said it was fine and did not need replacing. However, I was informed they would not be able to rotate my tires per store policy since a need was not addressed (as deemed by their staff). So, I previously paid for a service I now can't use. Sorry, but I will trust my mechanic with 20 years of experience over your technician. I talked with the manager of the store, who was very nice and willing to pay once for a tire rotation at another company, but this is just ridiculous. Not only will I not shop here again, but once these tires are done (in case one blows out and my "road hazard insurance" gets used covering it), I won't have any reason to set foot in this store.

We all know that Wal-mart has great prices. I love the choices in the deli, if only I could get to them. The service behind the counter is so slow and not usually very friendly. And dah...."Can I get something for you?" "No, I just thought I'd stand here and watch you work."
