Knowledgeable and helpful staff made it easy to get the parts I needed, in stock that day. Also, the tool rental service is really nice; borrowed two items to do the job, returned them and was on my way, no hassle.

Dixon O’Reillys is much friendlier and easier to work with than the Rock Falls O’Reillys.I had tried exchanging a part I had bought two years prior with a lifetime warranty to the Rock Falls, O’Reillys, the lady behind the counter, would not exchange my part, and she accused me of not bringing the original part and wanted me to pay full price for a new one.So I drove over to the Dixon O’Reillys, which is about 25 minutes from my house walked in and a nice gentleman there had the new part ordered within 5 minutes and said there would be no problem at all exchanging it

Guy tried to sell my friend a timing chain for a 230 Chevy 6 cyl said chain only no gears for chain though...Problem is that motor only has gears NO CHAIN IN THESE MOTORS TOTAL FAIL

The staff doesn't want to help or even take your money. It would have been fine if there was self checkout but otherwise you have to wait a while for someone acknowledge that it's their job to take my money in exchange for items and not stand there and hold the counter upright. Was an interesting visit for sure.
