They don't protect well against fraud. A hacker impersonated a friend around 6 months ago. I contacted Midland that day to stop the transaction and was given the run around. I called customer care several times in the following days, weeks, and months. They kept telling me they would call back. When they did, they still didn't credit back the fraudulent transaction. Now they are saying they can't help because it was over 60 days ago. That's not my fault! I've been trying to get help since day 1. Not a good bank.

Went in to get a personal loan to consolidate some high interest debt as well as pay for car related expenses. Only $7000 we were asking for. Apparently $70,000 in household income and a 720 credit score is laughable to the banker Debbie. She quite literally laughed in our faces after we told her our income and credit score. It was an incredibly demeaning, dehumanizing event and was completely unprofessional on her part.I will never do business with this condescending bank and we will be closing all of our accounts shortly.

These are amazing wonderful nice people if you have little ones take them there with you they are the sweetest people I have ever met and instead of taking your change to the coin star at Walmart that is never open and takes 12% of your money take it there they give you all of your money and it’s quick I love the people there definitely worth your time.

If you want a bank that will alert fraud on absolutely every purchase, these are your guys. I'll throw in a second star because on the .0001% of the time that it is fraud I'm sure this would be very helpful, but for the rest of the time it is very annoying having to take 3 days per transaction.

Usually, when someone has never been to your bank before.... YOU EXPLAIN YOUR POLICIES IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER! This bank is not the place you want to go to. I recently moved to Oregon, IL and my sister has started working at McDonald’s. She just received her first check and went to cash it at this bank per McDonald’s! The lady who was there was extremely rude. I don’t know her name but she is short with dark brown hair. She has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS WHATSOEVER.
