Rude and condescending! The second I mentioned it was a quote for my husband his tone changed. And I noticed most reviews are from men, makes you wonder. I felt like I was being scolded and he questioned my knowledge, I’d hate to think it was a sexual bias.

Check engine light came on. I stopped at a local parts store, they ran diagnostics for free and printed out a report saying that an oxygen sensor is showing fault. The report pointed to one specific sensor of the four installed in this vehicle. Checked Amazon - the sensor costs $20. Checked YouTube - very easy to replace yourself. Was passing by this shop and thought that with this being such a simple fix, why not let them do it for a few extra bucks. The guy there told me that they have to do their own diagnostics - this will cost me $150. If only one sensor is bad - that will cost $200 to replace. Of course, there is also a possibility of wiring or "computer" being bad (I guess, he was getting me pre-conditioned for an even bigger rip-off). Best case scenario, therefore -$350. I tried to object, saying that the part only costs $20 on Amazon and only takes a few minutes to install. "Then go and do it yourself!", the rip-off artist said. Which I did. $22 later (including tax) and 15 minutes of my time, the check engine light is back to normal. Stay away from this scoundrel.
