Only thing i dont like is the scan check at exit. I understand its for security but it just takes way too long to scan every single thing especially if the carts beyond full! And alot of times there are really long lines! They need to figure something better hopefully someday!

During a recent visit I experienced a medical situation. I became too dizzy to stand and started to fall when a customer grabbed my arm and almost as fast a person running a orange tast stand came over with 2 samples of orange juice. At almost the same time 2 employees came to my aid. One went back and brought me a electric cart. The other brought me a cup of ice cream because I am diabetic. I believe those employees should be recognized for their fast thinking. It also changed my view of people in our modern times.

Love this location although the service in the cafe is horrendous! The grandma - Mary has a horrible attitude and looks like she does not want to do her job. She is ready for the retirement home!

It's a Sam's! All are pretty much the same. Des Plaines store is clean and staff are friendly! Definitely my go to Sam's!

Carmen who is working in cafe is rude and arrogant.I ordered 1 whole pizza and a tuxedo sundae.She asked me if I need a drink so I said no because 1 whole pizza doesn’t come with a drink.She was about to give me a whole slice pizza which I didn’t ordered.She get mad and arrogant to talk to me to tell me that I ordered 1 slice of pizza.She insisted that I told her wrong but I am the customer and I know what I ordered.I saw her talking to her colleague about me as if I did something wrong to her.She doesn’t understand the what is slice and whole pizza. Come to think of it,it is just a common sense. You can ask and clarify to the customer if you didn’t understand what is the order.Never had a bad experience in this cafe before.She is arrogant and idiot.Slice and Whole are totally different thing.

I went to sam’s today to pick up a placed order. I do this because I’m a heart transplant patient and I’m on dialysis. Today, I was having a very bad arthritic attack in my right hand. My order came out by a young, short, stocky Spanish fellow. He never offered any help. I was moving each individual item with one hand and he could clearly see I was clutching the other. I had too many things to continue at this pace. I ended up having to pick up the two big cartons and place them in the car, myself. I know it was a race thing as I am a white male in my late 50s. I may have to take my membership elsewhere.

I’ve been a member of this Sams Club for many years since my company is right next to it.
But I always have a question (might be a silly one): what’s the point of using the fast checkout/phone scanning to skip the checkout line while someone at the exit will check all the items and have people waiting in lines?

Do not let guy from “Just energy” stand fool you. They told me they are giving me a gift card for Comed but they signed me on 60 months contract without letting me know. I have paid my electricity bill $300 instead of $50. Do not trust them. I can’t believe Sam’s club lets these scammers play their customers.
