It's really too bad that the Vision Therapy was closed, my son was there over a year with Elena and we were looking forward to him graduating from the program.
We took our eye exams elsewhere.

I recently visited Dr. Shama Patel at my eye doctor, what was a new location for ME, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the moment I walked in, the entire team was welcoming and professional. Dr. Shama Patel is incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of my eye care and ensuring I felt comfortable throughout the process. The location is so convenient for me, and the level of care provided is exceptional. I highly recommend Dr. Patel and her team for anyone seeking top-notch eye care. They truly go above and beyond for their patients. I do also love how you can go online and easily schedule your appointment and see the doctors information and gives you so many options. Is fantastic. I will never visit any other eye place but my eye doctor.

Nearly two years ago (May 2022), I developed a very sudden and disruptive case of double vision. After a standard eye exam and a series of medical procedures, I started vision therapy with Elena Raskin. I was skeptical at first, especially since no one was able to determine the cause of my condition. My condition worsened in the early weeks, but over time, I was able to notice improvement. At certain periods of time, over my rehabilitation, I noticed improvements from the exercises during our sessions and in the time away from my appointments.Elena was terrific and really helped me through a difficult time. I gained just as much benefit from the actual exercises as I did from her compassionate care.I'm very glad to say that my vision is nearly the same as it was before the condition came on two years ago. If my vision falters, I definitely plan to go back to those exercises and will seriously consider seeking care from her again.Thank you Elena!!!

Dr. Kim suggested I start vision therapy to help correct a growing difference in my eyes; doctors in the past just gave me a stronger prescription to mask the problem. I've been seeing Elena for 3 months now and the improvements in my vision have had very positive impacts in my day-to-day life. My vision has been getting better and better every month instead of worse like it always had in the past. Even my family has noticed that I don't complain as much as I used to. I'm very thankful for the opportunity to improve my eye health.

Dr Kim was very friendly, polite and helpful, answering my questions about my tests very patiently. I would definitely recommend her office as a customer friendly place to do business. 5 stars!

While I was in Chicago on business I broke my glasses. I stopped at myeyedr and they were able to fix them for me in ten minutes. The staff is very nice and very helpful. I can’t thank them enough.

The front desk associates are wonderful and the dr. Is great too! My son has autism and has a VERY rough time at Dr offices including the eye dr. But everyone here has welcomed him and has helped ease his anxiety. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding with our son!

Eye therapy with Elena and Gretchen has been so beneficial to my child's progress. The exercises working on her peripheral and focal challenges have helped reduce the number of falls she has on stairs and outside.Vision therapy is the glue that is making the other therapies (pt ot) come together. We are so grateful for their expertise and ideas to help our child who struggles overcome challenges. Highly recommend eye therapy at My eye Dr. So grateful my school district recommended them!

I have been going to MyeyeDr(in Des Plaines)for about 2-3 months now. I see Elena for vision therapy and she is the best, she is so knowledgeable, kind, patient and a excellent therapist. I have noticed improvements in my eyes and life. I can't wait to continue my therapy sessions with her. My son has a pair of Rec Specs (sports glasses) and long story short our new puppy chewed them up. I had to order new lenses but they didn't fit. I took them to the office and they trimmed them to fit. All while I waited. The staff is the best and the waiting area is top notch comfortable. I appreciate the quick service and will definitely be back for my next pair of glasses.

Dr. Kim is a fantastic, knowledgeable, smart, caring, eye doctor. As a family, we have seen her for the past few years and she greets us with a smile, is very thorough with her eye exams, diagnosis any issues, and always has our best interest at heart whether it be a yearly exam or a medical visit. Dr. Kim recently diagnosed my daughter with convergence insufficiency and suggested vision therapy.Elena and Gretchen are fantastic therapists. They love their patients just like their own children or grandchildren. They welcome their patients and parents with open arms to their office. They have created a cozy, inviting, and safe atmosphere for their patients to work. Elena and Gretchen are both kind, caring, funny, outgoing, smart ladies who are very knowledgeable in their craft and spend time explaining why and how things aren't working the way they should and how the activities that they do will help.These ladies incorporate fun into their therapy times and also make modifications when needed. They want to see their patients succeed and spend quality time with each and every one of them. Then are so excited when they see growth and accomplishments, even if they are small.My daughter has been struggling in her reading fluency. This is a life skill that she will need to be successful in her future and without the help of Ms. Elena, she would not be making strides like she is. Ms. Elena is training and developing my daughter's eyes so she can be a confident and strong reader which in turn will allow her to move forward in her academic career and develop into a productive adult. Elena holds a special place in our hearts and my daughter wants to continue vision therapy forever. We appreciate all the time, effort, and love, she gives to both of us every time we meet.Dr. Kim, Elena, and Gretchen are improving the well being of all the individuals they come in contact with who are benefitting, growing, developing, and becoming healthier because of their important work.

Excellent experience with the vision therapist Elena Raskin! She did not only help my daughter eliminate her eye muscle problem but also is trained in ASD and gave many other tips to help my daughter managing her autism better. It is with great sadness to learn that this amazing vision department is closing!!
