Its been a while since I've seen my regular guy working back there, but for some time, he was the best. He was soft spoken and wasn't much for small talk but was always fast when slicing meats and super accurate. I actually don't mind if they're slow or even go over/under the weight. I just happened to notice how good he was at doing his job and thought I'd mention it here.”

Wal-Mart, 727 Golf Rd, Des Plaines“I am glad that someone told me about the place. It is worth the occasional drive. Store clean right and uncluttered. Nice selection of food. Even has a small deli. Not as crowded as some other Walmart's. Prices reasonable. I enjoy coming here. As a side note...I saw 2 employees with their mask below their nose and the manager was out on the floor. Oops!”

1528 Lee St, Des Plaines“Yvette karen dan and when Taylor is there, have all been helpful and of great assistance. The Elmhurst road location could learn a lot from your Lee st location. I only go to the Elmhurst rd location when I have to, as the service leaves a lot to be desired. sincerely, Al Harding, a long time customer”
“The Milf counter lady is now gone. I believe ownership has changed. In the small space they've added more refrigerated coolers with more beer and chilled alcohol options. Far more spirits and plenty more stock to fulfill all customer needs. The new owners got to be Indian peeps, with convenience store experience. There are convenience store items found now and Adult movies. You know what kind.. the $5 kind. Haven't people stopped buying porno movies yet? Shit is free on-line. Ownership must know something about their usual type of customer. No porn for me, just cases of Tequila rose airplane bottles. The perfect party starter, $1 each.”

“Helpful and knowledgeable staff, convenient and quick location for COVID vaccine . . . Prices on non-pharmacy items seem higher than other stores, but sales and discounts often make this location worth a stop. Nearby downtown Des Plaines stores, businesses, and restaurants also offer quick-stop convenience for walkers, train commuters, and local residents.”
