Bakery lady today at 6:00 pm, she’s tan with glasses (an hour before they closed) refused to write on my cake, which they advertise is free. I left feeling scammed because that’s the only reason I rushed (ran) to get to jewel out of work. To make it in time for an employee to write on a cake for a celebration. It wasn’t much to ask but I felt like she felt bothered and even spoke under her breath when I asked her a question. Most notibly she was wearing her AirPods while at work. It’s unprofessional and this bakery lady thinks she can do it because her managers aren’t around. I’d like to put this full attention on her and her unprofessionalism and the least amount of customer service she put on my visit. I had to pick out another cake because of it. I can say this is what ruined my best friends day. We need immediate action on this employee. Because at a jewel??? It’s unheard of.

Jewel Osco in Des Plains is my top choice for grocery shopping. The store is always well-stocked with a great variety of fresh produce, bakery items, and specialty products. The staff is friendly and willing to help, making each visit pleasant. Their deli and prepared food sections are convenient for quick meals, and I appreciate their wide selection of household essentials. The store is clean, well-organized, and the checkout process is always smooth. It's a reliable and convenient shopping spot in the area

Get rid of the digital deals. It's discrimination to people that are not technically Savvy. Considering that this is a unhealthy country it is absolutely disgusting to have digital deals on fruits and vegetables instead of just having it at a fair price. I never thought I would see a time where water costs more than beer.

They had what I needed. However, the prices are over prices, and that why u don't really have customers .. I am not from here. However, I travel around the USA and this has got the most expensive grocery store

Absolutely awful. It been shopping at Jewel for 40+ years and have hesitated to make a change. But I'm going to have to switch. I shop at the Des Plains store on Elmhurst Road. Everytime I go in there, I come away feeling angry and frustrated.

This place it's great store but the salad I got from here was with bad smelli awful chicken inside the salad very disappointed naver buying anything from here any type salad or any thing that they cook in their kitchen .
